@burneri83 technically...Darth Talon is VERY LATE in the series. Cade Skywalker, the possible grandchild of Ben Skywalker (son of Luke), dueled Darth Talon and bested her---so extremely late in the series...
While Darth Maul was pre-clone wars, and fought and lost against Obi-Wan.
Eitherway, Darth Maul came first...but they are two entirely different races as well....
