  • We can't afford it case fucking closed.

  • Republicans are now supporting idealism over common sense? How are they still getting votes?!?!

  • this is a Democratic country, not a Republic...

thus Democrats are more American then Republicans... DUUH!

(A republic, for those who don't know, is sort of like a Dictatorship, and Republicans are all Wana-be Dictators in a Free Country... WTF? )

  • @skaterboyof2009 A republic is a form of government where a body of individuals that represent the public govern. This has nothing to do with dictatorships. America is a democratic republic, since we vote for those that govern the republic. Next time, know what you're talking about before making assertions.

  • @yuriatayde Well thanks, but I already know about libertarianism and the HTWW channel. I'm a student of political science and history. I didn't ask about ideology or what some twat on YT thinks, I'm asking for GOOD arguments against the healthcare bill. I'll check out what HTWW says on the subject if you think he has the best arguments, if not, please present them yourself.

  • @yuriatayde The healthcare bill was not perfect, far from it. However, I heard no good arguments coming from the right-wing during the debate. If you have any good arguments against the bill, please present them (ie arguments that are logicaly consistant and demonstrably true - ie no lies).

  • I'm on the fence about the health care bill. On one hand, America's health care system does need reform. On the other, we don't really have the money to have the government pay for everyone's illnesses (60% of all government spending goes to health-care related institutions). I'm not a Tea Party member, I'm just a realist: now isn't the time for the health care bill, and the passing of it has lost the Democrats more political capital than they thought they would gain.

  • @eefree89 I spent years working in the health insurance industry - in the accounting department. There's plenty of money to provide good basic care for all Americans in what is already flowing thru that industry. Universal health care, Canadian style care would be a boon for for workers and for small-to-medium employers. Taxes would go up. But you could hire someone without a huge hidden cost, and you wouldn't be bankrupted if you loose or change your job, and premiums would go down.

  • @eefree89 the health care reform act is primarily about requiring people to get health insurance (in the same way you are required to insure your car for instance) and preventing health insurance companies from denying coverage to people who have been paying for it. It is not about the government paying for health care. The uninsured cost the government far more than this bill ever can. Most people who oppose this bill seem to miss that.

  • Great video. I think you have perfectly illustrated exactly how many people think the system works and what is wrong with it.

"Bad things happen because of evil people make them happen!"

    Absolutely classic.

  • Another nail-on-the-header!!

  • Best video yet!

  • As of today the Obama Administration has granted 500 waivers to mostly unions (over 800,000 union people), the VERY PEOPLE [hypocrites] who lobbied for the health care bill !!!!!! Put all the facts in your well done one sided propagandistic video Mark least you be taken for a political hack like Hannity or Matthews. Obama has already given over two million people waivers so they don't have to participate in this poorly crafted bill. Google it..... facts are facts.

  • You are confusing what it is supposed to do with what it does. If it worked I would be for it but the fact of the matter is it does not.

  • 1:03 that was sorta creepy

  • @666sigma LOL!! You should be named 666Cigna. You sound like a health insurance troll spewing propaganda.

If you don't believe me, check out Wendell Potter, former vice president of the insurance giant Cigna, and author of "Deadly Spin." He's a whistle blower.from the bowels of the beast.

BTW, why is the U.S. the only industrial country in the world without universal health coverage? And why do countries like Japan, France, and Germany have BETTER health care at half the cost?

    Duhh???

  • What's there not to like? It provides free and better health coverage to everyone and saves money at the same time. Yep, it's going to do all those things because I said so.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

The truth is that we cannot afford Obamacare as presented by idiots like Fiore. It may provide the benefits in the short run, but something has to give it. And that is what is not being told by Obamacare supporters.

  • Another winner!

  • Why is it unamerican? Insurance companies are non government run, or at least they used to be.

  • Brilliant, well done

  • It's clearly extremely "socialist" to make companies do what they're paid to do.

  • @zetanato

You can't make companies do what they can't afford to do. And the government can't do anything cheaper than profit driven companies.

America is TOAST. The economic mess of today will only end in total disaster. We are fat, lazy and stupid. You make a perfect symbol for the country in the 21st century.

  • @666sigma Actually they can, because they're not profit driven.

  • @666sigma By definition, not for profit groups can provide services for cheaper because they don't have to make a profit in order to survive. Also, last I checked, health care companies have been making record profits--I'm sure they'll live.

I find it ironic for you to condemn the entire nation as well as people you've never met as "lazy" when it is clear that you show a great degree of intellectual laziness yourself.

  • Simply ooooozing with sarcasm. Well done, sir!

  • @amazingbollweevil

And factual inaccuracies. More coverage to more people and cheaper, too!!! Bullshit.

I think the government should mandate that grocery stores sell us Kobe beef and lobster for the price of chicken. We will all get better food for less money. Do you see a problem?

Probably not because you lack critical thinking skills.

  • @666sigma More people to share the costs means that the individual pays less. It's simple maths.

  • @Verdoux007

Increase demand leads to higher prices. It is simple economics. I know that they wil ration care another way. Most likely they will pull the plug on Grandma like Canada and Britian - not that I am against that.

Just as the government fucked up the housing market with Freddie/Fannie/CRA, social security, Medicare/Medicaid, education and energy; they will do the same for Health Care. We will get higher costs and worse service. Go look at a VA hospital.

  • @666sigma It leads to higher prices only if it's profit driven (which it's not).

Canada and Britain do not ration care. You might have to wait longer, but you will not be denied of it.

  • @Verdoux007

Wrong, both Canada and Britian deny end of life care. Both Canada and Britian control the cost of drugs so where does Big Pharma dumped these costs? America because our government is too stupid to protect its citizens. Canada and Britian are smart enough to control lawsuits against medical professionals.

Obamacare is a train wreck because it was written for insurance companies, big pharma, lawyers, etc. We will get higher costs and rationed care.

  • @666sigma No they don't. Where's your proof?

  • @Verdoux007

Go look it up yourself. There is a thing called "google". Learn how to use it. In the meantime, I suggest some classes in Anger Management. Like most people who are part of the Intolerant Left, you cannot handle opposing views. You would be better served getting the facts first before forming an opinion. You probably form firmer stools than opinions and they are probably worth more.

  • @666sigma You made those wild accusations, so it's your job to provide the evidence not mine.

And about your ad hominem attack against me. All I have to say about that is, grow the fuck up and learn to deal with opposing views.

  • @Verdoux007

And your wild accusations are okay? More people leads to lower cost. You looked at one half of the equation and only part of it. More people leads to greater demand, too. Greater demand drives up prices. Take a look of the government's brilliant subprime mortgage debacle. Government is notoriously inefficient.

I think your temper says a lot about how rational you are. The government peddles crack to weak minds like yours. Get off the crack.

  • @666sigma And again with the ad hominems. When will you learn.

  • @Verdoux007

I also pointed out the factual inaccuracies in your OPINION. The jabs were a bonus. You have no response for your economic illiteracy. Bye.

  • @666sigma as I recall private banks were well involved in that whole "brilliant subprime mortgage debacle". In fact, loosened regulations & shoddy oversight with an attitude that if business wanted to do something it was ok seemed to been a big factor.

Clearly the private sector can be even more inefficient. Especially when it makes them money.

& Demand only drives up price if supply is low. & you seem to be ignoring other factors.

  • BTW

@666sigma "both Canada and Britian deny end of life care." No they don't. As you said yourself there's this thing called "google. It also helps that I know people in Canada.

Not to mention something else you seemed to have overlooked. Pharma in canada still makes a profit. The Canadian Gov just does what Walmart does, uses it's power as the biggest buyer of drugs to get a good deal.

They dont' "dump " the costs here. Pharma charges more here because they can.

    They want the money.

  • @booley

Go read your stupid response. Big Pharma charging Americans more because they can while countries like Canada and Britian pay them less is "dumping their costs" on Americans. The American government should not allow Big Pharma to charge Americans more. Obamacare does not even solve this problem. But it will result in forcing Americans to buy crappy generics. And, yes, some generics are crappy.

  • @666sigma Maybe you should read a dictionary.

Cost is what it COSTS to make a drug. Cost is NOT profit. Pharma isn't dumping their costs onto the US from Canada because they make a profit in both countries.

They just make MORE profit in the US because they can charge more.

No, the US gov shouldn't allow them to do that& I wish Obama had not struck a deal. But that still doesn't' mean that pharma dumps the cost onto the US.

IF you are going to bitch, understand what you're bitching about.

  • @666sigma and I hate to break this to you but a lot of brand name drugs are pretty crappy too. Being generic or brand name doesn't mean a drug is good or bad.

  • @booley

I hate to break the news to you, but I agree. The vast majority of meds are unnecessary. They mask symptoms and cause other problems, often more severe. They are sanctioned by government and insurance companies. The most common drugs prescribed could be eliminated by better diet, but that does not generate revenue.

What I meant by crappy generics is that they were NOT the exact medication and don't even relieve the symptoms in some people.

  • @666sigma I didn't say anything about meds being unnecessary.

My definition of crappy is the same as yours, they are not always the right medication and sometimes can make things worse. Being generic or brand name has no bearing on if that happens.

But as I said, pharma like any corp wants to make money and that won't happen if no one is buying the drugs.

Profit is also the same reason they over price drug sin the us, as I mentioned before.

  • @666sigma More coverage for more people and save money, too? It certainly can be done. The government(s) built the roads which enable more people and goods to move faster and more cheaply. Your straw-man argument of Kobe beef and lobster demonstrates your poor critical thinking skills.

  • @amazingbollweevil

The government pays $1000 for a toilet seat. They allow Big Pharma to charge Americans 2x and 10x what other countries pay for AMERICAN drugs. Oooh, I can smell the savings.

Fortunately, at least one court read the constitution. Obamacare is TOAST.

  • @666sigma Why would the government allow big pharma to charge so much more for drugs? Because the drug companies own the government. Let's get the profit incentive out of the medical industry and we'll make some real progress toward a healthy America. I don't like the program being offered, but I recognize that it's a step in the right direction. I'm disappointed that you want to let the big corporations decide your fate. Me? I'm an of the people, by the people, for the people kinda guy.

  • @666sigma Your a troll. I've seen your work before, and seen your worthless page. The $1,000 toilet seat was not a seat you could go to Home Depot for and get for $29.99. It was a pressurized toilet for space craft, or jets. I can't stand that people keep bringing up the toilet seat thing, without knowing what they are talking about. As far as govt. health care is concerned Medicare/Medicaid and the VA all operate much more cheaply than do private for profit companies.

  • @666sigma The US pays more for pharma, 'cause the Repuplicans wrote it into law when GW created his health care plan (which was nothing more than a handout to big pharma). The Dems haven't done anything to take it back, but they wouldn't get it through anyway. The VA does negotiate prices with big pharma pays much less, just like every other country in the world that has a single payer system, which you would consider Socialist. So stop complaining, and just take your medicines (on time).

  • I mean this video just shows exactly how bad this healthcare is.

  • @mullen2105 Healthcare is bad? Healing and aiding the sick is bad? Yeah... if disease, suffering and death is good, then yes, it's bad.

  • @mullen2105

    Shut the fuck up.

  • @TimmyHaag Can you draw a picture to go with that? I think he's too fucking stupid to understand it without one.

  • @mullen2105 I am having a difficult time understing the meaning of your comment. Could you please elaborate?

  • @HolyCity2012 Sarcasm, you have to be utterly selfish to think the repeal is reasonable.

  • @mullen2105 Only if you're more concerned with profits than people.
