  • I think Tanner should give up smoking.

Only kidding what a video and what an engine sound that was.

  • My mother drives so fast when i arrive late to school.

  • this makes me want a Rock star :)

  • Call me boring, but I find this type of driving somewhat tedious. It is pointless, and obviously slower than driving properly up the track. No matter how much I watch drifting, while it does look impressive, all I see is somebody playing about spinning their wheels and throwing smoke and rubber dust around. Pointless.

  • great now we have hill climb in LA, they should do it annually, thump up if u agree with me ;)

  • That's rwd dude that's like a beast right there I mean really I want to be him in that car lol ^_^

  • i wonder what ppl will think when they see the car tracks on this road:D

  • Let me know when redbull drifts. This was sheit

  • pretty awesome for a fwd car -.-

  • @exaro theres no way this car is Front Wheel drive

  • @alingh nope would not call this a car at all... but the car in the vid is trying to be a scion and they are fwd. becuse they took a fwd scion and removed everything but its shell then stuck it on some other car. -.- false advertisement...

  • Man if Colin Mcrae was there he would have done that 10 times better with a Volvo :D

  • hes the real life sean from tokyo drift.

  • I like how the first slowmo of him his facial expression is all chill hes just like yeeeah I fux wit it

  • Great!

  • FINALLY some USDM DRIFT IN SOCAL!!!!!!

  • Thats awesome how theres no skid marks on the road so you know he didn't practice 10 times then they edited to footage together its a legit run not like the ken block vids i was just watching.

  • @ronmann606 so true.

  • Imagine someone driving on that road and seeing all those tire marks hahaha

  • Frickin awesome!!!....hands down better than Ken Block's video for one simple reason. Done on pretty well the first try. You dont see a lot of tire tread marks like in Ken Block's videos. Not hating on his videos though, thyere pretty awesome too.

  • nice

  • Who says Ken Block??? In my opinion, has more merit the drifting than the rally.. In drift nobody leads you, you're on your own .. Also, there is nothing like seeing a good burn rubber every time the car slides into a corner..

  • ok drifters come up a notch 0 to 1..and ken block could not beat that run..that was 2:27 to the top distance 2 miles..average speed?yeah dont get too excited its utube

  • epic

  • If you disliked this video because he "wasted" a set of tires then you are very homosexual.

  • Yea, let's speed up the destruction of the planet one set of tires at a time!!! What a waste...

  • 2:20 looks phat as f**k lol

  • So that's where all those skid marks came from... I ride this road weekly and know it very well. Have to give this guy props 5*****

  • I wonder what people thought of all those tire marks when they opened the road again. People would have been like wtf???? How has this guy not crashed???

  • @scrustle I was thinking exactly the same. So many times I see tire marks right before a corner....would hate to do that on this road.

  • I know exactly where this video was shot, I had a 'street tuned' Chevelle I would run through there with, but not at the level that this guy is, five stars dude, five stars, that V-8 is gettin' a workout, me likey : )

  • awesome

  • blessed by the drifting gods... \\(^^.)

  • so there is almost 2 miles with non stop 'tires'

and judging the road was clean this must be done with 1 try,

    FREAKING NICE>>

  • @z3dz See att 2:04 .. There is more than two tire marks there :)

  • @EspONE the front tire

  • @EspONE You really think he would run it once without a practice run or two and risk crashing his prescious little car hell no haha.

  • I've seen a vid on "garage 419" channel some minutes ago and this toyota has reduced power NASCAR engine fitted in it. Check out for Yourself if You can't get it through Your skull.

  • Japan called they want their street drifting back.

  • @CanadianFE funny how half of the americans talk crap about how muscle is better, but they steal drifting and what they call street drifting, this isn't street drifting, if this were reaL streat drifting youd be getting chased by the cops by now

  • @CanadianFE "Youve reached America... sorry were not in at the moment, at the sound of the beep, ask me if i give a fuck.... beep."

  • I think Tanner needs to take on the Drift King on the touge. Might be a new touge monster!!

  • Definitly not a supercharger.

It is the gearbox whining because they are using straight cut gears

  • no what u guys hear under the car is not supercharger, listen to it carefully it sonds more like rear tires squeak because of sliding...at least to me.

  • @RusWolff yeah no doubt. The motor is a v8 nascar engine which they had to de-tune from 700 hp to like 500 to keep it running.

  • I'm guessing that he just did this in his first run?..Because the road doesn't have any tire marks before he did it...AMAZING

  • Drift King will be proud (i think).

  • The TC is hella ugly but he got mad skillzzzz yo

  • you make team scion proud tanner keep it up

  • ima drink rockstar and drive like

    that

  • what car i don't know?

  • Scion tC

  • @WeAreBravoniisCrew Scion TC, basically a Toyota Avensis

  • awesomeness

  • Kinda looks like another stuck Toyota accelerator video!

    Just kidding, 5 stars.

  • I think I should go out and buy a rockstar sick vid though wowza

  • owned

  • beautiful! simply awesome!

  • dope. be nice if they'd close down the road for us motorcycles. eh i take that back...it wouldn't be as much fun without the high risk factor!

  • would they ever get on wit it you'd swear they were lauchin into space at the start?

  • impresionante¡¡¡¡¡¡pedazo de pilotaje.

otro juego de gomas y a quemarlas.

  • one mistake in the wrong section and he is friggin dead! this guy is crazier than ken block.

  • Between this & Ken Block's videos, these 2 guys are just insane.

This is why these 2 should get professional help...they're just absolute nutters!!!

    Bloody great video!

  • He could have saved all that drama and done the same thing in Walmart parking lot.

  • Absolutely Awsome ! The next guy that drives that road is gonna be like what the fuck ?!!! Where' d all these marks come from?

  • se jura ken block ajjaja

  • Comment removed

  • Why dont they make tC's rwd.... This makes me sad. :(

  • Wow , nice angles.

  • That was beautiful!!

    For all you haters:

...Block obviously practiced his courses many times (thus the skid marks) in his videos.

    ...and he was AWD!!!!!

...Foust drifted some of those parts ONCE for practice! He is a professional driver!!! ...and a pretty pimp drifter

  • @aslbled06

it isn't AWD, it is rear wheel drive.

  • he makes it look so hard, when japanese drift it looks so simple and so smooth.

  • beautiful japanese machinery and a gluttonous unrefined american engine? sweet

  • You're an idiot.

The tC is not sold anywhere else aside from America, and how is the motor an "unrefined, gluttonous" motor when it can spin at 9,000rpm for 6 straight hours, produce 850hp and not blow up?

  • @MattA1GP I guess he's referring to the fact its a nascar engine. which are epic, but old =/

  • ...Very-very Awesome! 5Star!

  • ken block wanna be... but tanner Foust has a tv show sooo ken step your game up

  • seriously love it skills skills skills and that HP thump thump thump great video ty

  • not as good as block

  • Cool Video Ken Block did it first and puts on a better show!!! and I own and Race a Scion tC :P

  • nah. street drifting > gymkhanna any day

  • Pretty obvious they did NO practice laps (at least not drifting laps) to get the footage as he's laying fresh lines down at every turn.

  • some of the footage was shot on multiple runs. for example at 1:57 for the front-fascia shot

  • for aesthetic & editing purposes. 90% of it was probably done in one attempt, which is impressive.

  • Amazing. Tanner Foust has some serious skills. Saw the link on AutoGuide and glad I checked it out.

  • Wow that's such a sick road. I've been down it a few times. It would be dope to be able to do that. Great video!

  • when I first heard of Tanner Foust I thought he was some kind of wannabe but this guy is a BEAST

  • hope he is still on the usa top gear when it comes to history channel...

  • Nice vid!

  • if only scions came like this from the factory. Now that would be a bake sale. They'd fly off the lots!

  • Love the vid, by why are you using such shitty cameras? Looks like people were standing there with cell phone cameras or something. I was expecting something much better quality from such a big group. The driving is still fantastic though.

  • i have watched this three times already!!! WOOW!!

  • Not bad. Mika Hakkinen would have been more sideways & faster in something with half the horsepower.

  • i love toyota! this thing is unreal!

    is that a supercharger i hear :)

  • Nah I don't think he's supercharged. Straight Toyota v8 Nascar motor IIRC.

  • @andino93 @ 1:26 when they go under the car, you can hear a whistle, i thought that may been a supercharger, or maybe a procharger...

  • @analog56x Yeah I heard it too. But from what I can tell from pics of his engine bay, it looks like its N/A

  • no its for sure not. its a brand new NASCAR engine from TRD. definitely NA

  • no its NA

  • wow.. amazing..

  • Most amazing thing ever :) go scion
