They bust their ass thru the night to the car ready. They got a PHD in their field. Atleast sound a bit grateful, jackass. Mika Haikonen was class. Kimi looked more like he should have been in another motor sport.
i hate the BS "great job xxx well done you drove fantastic!". most of the radio's that go out to live tv is scripted stuff, but now and then you get a driver who is truly angry and let's rip when he's not supposed to xD fun fun
120 percent rule basically says that when you are on the circuit in qualifying, your slowest lap cannot be 120 percent of your fastest. This was to prevent people from cruising back to the pits and dangerously or unfairly blocking other drivers on hot laps. As far as the Bi-point thing, I think he's actually saying "bite point". Not exactly sure, but probably something to do with the clutch settings.
drivers used to go slowly to the pits after their hotlaps to save fuel for the race as they had to carry fuel to qualifying i think between 2004 and 2009, dont quote me on that date. this slow driving was considered dangerous as others drivers were still doing hot laps and so this rule was implemented. the rule means that if the drivers best time is say 100 seconds then they have an extra 20% of that time so 120 seconds to get to the pits
kimi is good with his first year at ferrari but next year he won't be there so yea ferrari just has a big loss but at least there getttin' alonso and that's good to but renault is gonna lose a good driver dumbest mistake in f1 peepoles
@Clonwarrior the 2007 car was complete, which Kimi showed as well. 2008 was a different story with a car that didn't perform in wet setup. 2009 wasn't much to write home about either in regards to performance of the car. Kimi is far better then Massa. I mean, he came to Ferrari and took the title in that same year. How long have Massa been with Ferrari now? I rest my case.
Kimi is still an incredibly talented driver. He just needs the right incentive to perform (as if driving a multi-million dollar F1 car isn't enough). Whether Ferrari is willing to provide those incentives to him is another matter. I still rate him higher than Massa.
They need to get his wife to give him a blow job before each race. Or even better, maybe they need to threaten him that his wife will give Massa a blow job after the race if Massa beats him LOL
@fabaum22 The 2007-2009 Ferrari was structured to Massa's driving style thanks to cunning Ferrari advisor Michael Schumacher. Had they actually suited Raikkonen, he would have walked the 2007 championship with relative ease and done so with the 2008 one as well. Who knows about 2009, perhaps Raikkonen could have been close to the front if the car suited him, pushing Ferrari to actually work on it.
I also think that the above happened, he would still be in F1.
You're forgetting that Renault kept on developing their 08 car just to let Alonso win, while everyone else (except McL and Ferrari) switched to their 09 car. Additionally, both wins were due to luck--Piquet crashing at Singapore, and Hamilton driving like an idiot at Japan.
mcl and ferrari switched to 09 car?what are you talking men? they never did this untill the end of season coz the fought for championship. thats why this year both teams have many problems with adapting to new rules. you are completely wrong
mclaren spent $21 million developing the car just for brasil... remember? i don't think you can stop developing the 08 car and spend $21 million developing it... get your facts strait
Kimi: "Thanks everybody! Thanks a lot! It was quite a difficult also now" I heard that.
I have heard Kimi twice on radio. Now and in Malaysia 2009 when he says during the race tsomething like "my tyres are totally ruined! My tyres are torally ruined"
the new regulations for this year conserning the tv stuff said that all (all that is intresting) radio chatter will be put to broadcast. in the past raikkonen demanded that he's conversations would not be aired. but this year he can't have a word to that.
ferrari controls what goes on tv after the incident in austria 2002 the fia heard the team orders so ferrari didnt like that so they went to court and won so ferrari controls what goes on tv
yeah their opinion in f1 is important its because they are the oldest team in f1 and the most successful one and they have a huge number of fans and all the drivers that go with them are good and famous
I think every Team is may choose what goes on TV. Toyota for example is just fine with giving more interesting information to the audience. The Pit-Radio can be heared completely by the stewards of the meeting but the teams can choose what goes on air. Not only Ferrari but every team. But I'm not quite sure.
