@ArGyProductions its comeing i guess turns out my uler was healed finally after 3 months with careafate ? not sure but its a ulcer medicine that coats the ulcer with a protective layer , but it turns out all my pain wasnt just from my ulcer sadly, it was also from my gall bladder thats not functiong right so im having that taken out soon i go to see my new doctor monday , wish me luck ive talked with people about what it feels like once you have it out and they say your already out of pain
yep , i am no expert or doctor , but i can tell you that i feel drinking is the one culprit . hell , is not that why they call it rot gut. i litterally felt my ulcer come on by drinking, i braved the burning sensation of the alcohol for years . my guess is that alcohol eats away the lining of the stomach thereby allowing the bacteria to burrow .
Just got diagnosed with this after barim upper g.i. x-ray found a small ulcer (.5cm) which is thought to believe to causing all my stomach problems. They did blood and stool test. bam! H. Pylori. Just been put on 2 weeks of 2 diff. antibiotics, and prilosec for 1 month.
also there's no guarantee every fermented pickle has these strains... I think most pickels have plantarum but I can't find any dependable sources for reuteri
they have to be fermented though, and acidic salty pickles can cause pain if you have an ulcer so eat a banana and some vegetables before hand, chew the pickles thoroughly and drink some water with it
eat fermented pickles, they contain lactobacillus plantarum and lactobacillus reuteri which outcompete helicobacter pylori and interfere with it's ability to withstand stomach acid (lactobacillus can survive in the stomach without having to burrow into the stomach lining)
I was diagnosed with this yesterday. I told my doctor all my symptoms she had me take a blood test. I haven't felt good in a while . She put me on two antibiotics and nexium.
@jenjen21ification: Keep in mind that taking nexium, prilosec, pepcid for more than 4 months is unsafe. Plus if you are on antibiotic therapy it must be taken with lactobacillus to prevent C. Diff and other GI problems.
@breakingthebeat: I placed a naturopathic approach for stomach ulcer on my channel in the comment section it will remain posted for only a few days, unless my subscribers request an extension.
I was 17 when I developed an ulcer due to H. Pylori, been in lot of pain for over 4 years, and once they realised what it was I had 5 days in hospital and was on the mend :)
I'm 29 and developed an ulcer. I'm fairly healthy but do smoke. It hurts like a bitch at night. Even though I haven't done a salt water flush in a while, It's realy is likely the reason for this Ulcer.
Turmeric cures ulcers, make yourself a turmeric tea twice a day. To prepare turmeric tea, just pour boiling water to a cup, add turmeric powder, grated ginger and add a little sugar to taste. The amount of each ingredient depends on individual preference.
Its most effective when you take it on an empty stomach. Be sure to use pure turmeric
My Biopsies turned out to be ok. I suggest you get checked if you are having severe heartburn all the time. I have GERD Reflux. Had to stop all the following:
TEA
CHOCOLATE
SPICY FOODS
CITRUS FRUITS
TOMATOS
COFFEE
SOFT DRINKS and PIZZA! .....Yes, had to give up Pizza with the TOMATO sauce! :))
Hey... im doing an exposition about the helicobacter pylori infection and i chose this video to let my school mates an idea of how this works... but i cant identify the infection can someone please help me???
@Lol2048 What do mean u cant identify the infection? do u mena that u want it to be seen on the video or smthing?cuz if u do that is impossible as u understand, since a biopsy needs to be taken in order to see the Helicobacter pylori which causes the infection!
I just found out i have h. pylori. Ive had stomach issues for over 2 yrs. they missed finding the cause in my first endoscopy. I started the 2 antibiotics with prevacid i did that for 2 weeks I had 2 days in that period that I felt better. then I got worse. 2 wks later I am now starting the 2 antibiotics and prevacid again. It is supposed to work on 9 out of ten people. I hope helicobactor pylori is my only problem. people with this bacteria have a 400 percent more chance of cancer :(
I have had H pylori 3 times now & have used the prescribed medicine. But have been told that once you take the tablets it should not return anyone else had this problem of recurring H Pylori infection?
@boxy351: I have had one ulcer that I thought was cured with antibiotics. So went 4 years later for another endoscopy they diagnosed me with GERD/Acid Reflux, then 2 years later had to go in again, this time it was worse! They took 3samples of 3 places in my stomach or Esophagus, not sure yet. Will not know the results until April 7th during my followup. used PrevaCid, NEXUM, Prilosec and nothing worked after awhile... Praying my Biopsy test will be OK..(JD)Canada
@boxy351: There is a naturopathic approach for stomach ulcer on my channel in the comment section it will remain posted for only a few days, unless my subscribers request an extension.
you do not need to take this test. you can get a urea test( u blow into a ballon and they test your bacteria from stomach) and then if ur positive u get given 4 tablets to take 1c in morning 1c at night. and also 2 hours after night dose a tablet to heal back the dead good bacteria.. its simple not painfull and works a charme.
@xFANPiREbabex). Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a bacterium that causes chronic inflammation of the inner lining of the stomach (gastritis) in humans. This bacterium also is the most common cause of ulcers worldwide. H. pylori infection is most likely acquired by ingesting contaminated food & water and through person to person contact. In the United States,30% of the adult population is infected. (50% of infected persons are infected by the age of 60.) ADVICE..KEEP HANDS CLEAN, WASH VEGGIES!
@4bucks08 ... I think it depends on how severe it is. It can return if not cured with the ANTIBIOTIC treatment. I had an Ulcer twice, which I guess the first one returned or was not cured. Today I have GERD, REFLUX, I have to take KAPIDEX, which has now changed its name to DEXILANT.
It doesnt hurt per say, the proceeure causes discomfort in the throat, I have pancreatitis and therefore vomit alot, so my problem was gagging! Which I did thru the whole proceedure, gag and wretch(my stomach was empty apart from a little bile due to a small fasting period before, the bile was removed by suction) and you do get a strong numbing chemical and the offer of a sedative. So more uncomfortable than painful!
Okay I have a question I was eating yesterday and right after I finished eating i had this huge stomache pain and now every time I eat I get that feeling do you think that it is ulcers and do you think I should go to the doctor
@clownaphobia12:... Mine started out with severe heartburn, felt like a VOLCANO in my stomach after I age. Then it went to feeling something Pulsating, fluttering, twitching, vibrating in my stomach. I would get so much pain that it would throw me into ANXIETY ATTACKS... I recently had the Endoscopy, took 3 biopsies, will know on April 7th what is gong on.....MILLIONS of people have Stomach problems. (JDapro)Canada
I had this at 40, felt like constipation on and off for about 3-4 months. Finally went to er and stayed in hospital for 8 days and I was clear of it. That was 3 yrs ago..clean.
and i rather focus on what foods i can eat instead of getting depressed and complain about it.. i'm still here in pain but enjoying life as any healthy person does..
ah who am i kidding you probably don't understand. your feeble mind cant take it..
Yuk! I've had this for a long time without knowing it. The symptoms appeared here and there but I thought it was part of my hyperthyroidism. I'm on 3 dif meds and take 8 a day. Almost done. glad to rid of this.
I hav dis Bacteria N dey did endoscopy they giv me medication the first time suprly kill it but then 7 months later the bacteria came backk this is horrible n now i am taking the treatment again ppl dont eat food from burger king or mc donalds or from the streets dis is the results god bless everyone pz1
I got this bacteries, the doctor detected 2 days ago, i have 2 month with stomac pain and tomorow is my Endoscopic, hope be fine and remove the H Pylori, by the way, im very rare in this situation cause im only 17 years old and that supose to happen to ppl from 50s :S
Ill continue talking about this and about this infection.
I'm in the club. I was 16 when I got the pains and would wake up in the middle of the night. I didn't got to the doctor about it until it got worse 2 years later. I always thought it was a middle age disease too.
The scope, something you won't be wanting to do more than once. My pain came back and you guessed it, I had to do the scope again.
Have had a scope done earlier, have small ulcer in uppr part, I pesume its duodenal. No heartburn but full of wind belching etc some discomfort under sternum for some time that I may have mistook for heart angina butmaybe not. Is treatment effective? Prescribed Zoton FasTab, any good? Another site said that 90% of ulcers are caused by H.Pylori.
i did a research about that topic, and basically you can get it from everywhere, from food or even from mouth to mouth contact by a paerson carrying this organism.its very dangerous.
I just had this done this Feb and it showed gastritis, not yet ulcer. I had H. Pylori and they put me immediately on the Prev pac. My stomach feels better though sometimes I may eat something that still bothers it. The Dr said it may be due from the residual gastritis. Is that true?
basically its the bumps that is the infectious part.the bacteria enters in the stomach and hide behind the mucos membrane and beging to irritate the cell wall causing these large bumps.
i just had the same procedure today, without any anesthesia. it took only about 3 to 5 min. it was generally painless except it felt like i was being gagged while the tube was inserted in my throat. i have the same h. pylori bacteria and am now on that triple therapy. my husband watched while the procedure was being done and he said it was exactly the same as this video.
drinking doesnt really give you ulcers HOWEVER fun fact of the day if your ulcer perferates then hydrochloric acids starts to leak into your body cavaty causing you to vomit blood and start to digest yourself. the pain is so intense it causes shock and if you dont die you will probs have alot of your stomach removed WOOP WOOP
please help! what is a sphindertomy or a gastric duodenal embolization. My mom got treated and yet we really do not understand and those busy, busy doctors do not explain or give a website in order to help us understand. thanks.
@butifarra61 Part 2: As for the gastric duodenal embolization, all this is a method to stop a bleeding ulcer by burning the area. In other words if you had an open bleeding wound that will not stop bleeding your last resort is to cook the wound to stop the bleeding.
@butifarra61 Part 1: Sphincterotomy is basically a minor surgical procedure that is used to repair a chronic anal fissure. An anal fissure is an opening or crack that occurs in the lower half of the anal canal as a result of chronic constipation or crohn's disease. They are painful and can cause spasms which can interrupt blood flow - causing further tissue damage.
i was also infected with this h.pylori and was on the triple therapy for 2 weeks..then i started having the symptoms again, went back to the docters and had to do the breath thing and found out i have it again so now im back on that triple thearpy and hopefully it will go away this time, the pain is really horrible to have,i suffered with everything, and im still wondering how i got it..best thing to do is get it treated fast!
after h pylori infection, the chance that you will develop stomach cancer arise 5 to 10%. I am not trying to scare you, but just saying that you should be careful. I think i got h pylori infection too.. I better visit doctor tommorow.
And they also say that about 60 % of the people have this bacteria. I also have it and it bugs me quite a lot... today i had my 3rd gastroscopy and now hoppefully they will find the combination of drugs that will kill this bastard inside of me. :))
Some people wich have HP doesnt have any problems with stomach, but quite a lot of them does.
You can get it again if you eat raw or medium rare steak or sushi/sashimi or anything that are not cooked properly. Thats why it is important for you to watch what you eat after treatment.
many people had infected by this virus yet there is no other symptom occured. this can cause cancer if left untreat. h pylori infections are currently treated with so called 'triple therapy' that takes usually 1 weeks. to prevent this virus, i suggest u take new zealand made manuka honey.
H. pylori is a spiral-shaped bacterium found in the stomach, which (along with acid secretion) damages stomach and duodenal tissue, causing inflammation and peptic ulcers.
Some symptoms (looked up) * weight loss * poor appetite * bloating * burping * nausea * vomiting
This is happening in the beginning of the small intestine, just after the stomach. The normal mode of infection for H. pylori is the stomach. It is unknown how exactly H. pylori is transmitted but try to avoid bad water or food (may contain feces with H. pylori in it). I can't say much since I am a "pre"-med student.
you've named some of the huge signs. bloating and nausea. Others many include: headache, dizziness, loss of appetite, pain relief after eating or pain during the night on empty stomach. If any bleeding, vomiting, or severe pain in the pelvic/abdominal region occurs- GO THE DOCTOR. Without treatment it can lead to stomach cancer. I was treated about a month and half ago I took the meds religiously, but I still have the symptoms. :*(
I might have H.Pylori. I'm getting all the symptoms so I'm going for a doctor's appointment. If I do, might I have to get a diagnosis with a tube down my throat?
yes im infected with this and to find out that i had to do an endoscopy wich ye ,its puting a tube down ur throat ,but i have done it with general anestesie so i was asleep when they done that =]my adive to u do it as quickly a spossible
For me, they did a urine test to find it. The endoscopy came later after I had finished the 2 week treatment and was still experiencing symptoms. The h.pylori was gone, though. The treatment was called Helidac btw.
had this at 20 and it tore open. not good!

please help! what is a sphindertomy or a gastric duodenal embolization.

They are painful and can cause spasms which can interrupt blood flow - causing further tissue damage.

after h pylori infection, the chance that you will develop stomach cancer arise 5 to 10%.

Sorry m780721, h pylori is not a virus
it is bacteria and there are great differences between both.
the triple therapy for it is:
1- proton pump inhibitor
2- metronidazole
and 3- antibiotic "like macroloids"

many people had infected by this virus yet there is no other symptom occured. this can cause cancer if left untreat. h pylori infections are currently treated with so called 'triple therapy' that takes usually 1 weeks. to prevent this virus, i suggest u take new zealand made manuka honey.

H. pylori is a spiral-shaped bacterium found in the stomach, which (along with acid secretion) damages stomach and duodenal tissue, causing inflammation and peptic ulcers.
slivasiul 3 years ago
it would be better to take the medication for at least 2 weeks to make sure the bacterias are dead otherwise they become a "superbug".

What are the commun symptoms for this disease?
I'm having some reflu...bloating...and neausea, headaches and other symptoms
sega62s 3 years ago
you've named some of the huge signs. bloating and nausea.

Horsekisses 3 years ago
yes im infected with this and to find out that i had to do an endoscopy wich ye ,its puting a tube down ur throat ,but i have done it with general anestesie so i was asleep when they done that =]my adive to u do it as quickly a spossible
LOLHAI2U 3 years ago
For me, they did a urine test to find it. The endoscopy came later after I had finished the 2 week treatment and was still experiencing symptoms. The h.pylori was gone, though. The treatment was called Helidac btw.
