I am 15 and got my nose pierced yesterday. I have a low pain tolerance, and honestly it didnt hurt at all! my two lobe ear piercing hurt more than my nose! So if you want a nose piercing then get it because its totally worth it, and i love it! :)

Guess what? I'm a piercer, but I'm not going to tell people to get it done professionally. Especially in this economy! I've done 12 of the 17 piercings myself, and NO ISSUES!

So, next time someone says they'r going to pierce themselves, LET THEM! If they have issues, then ok, let THEM deal with it. We don't need your crap telling us to not pierce ourselves. . Seriously?!

Just because you are too scared, and too brainwashed to do it yourself, doesn't mean that you have to tell others that.

If you want to pierce yourself, go ahead, but of course try to get the necessary items to do so. At least a hollow needle((is easiest)) and cleaning wipes ((or you can wipe the surface with a tad alcohol mixed with water. . too much alcohol can dry your skin!)) clean your hands/ wear gloves. have clean jewelry -c-

I am 13 as well and i got my lip done when i was twelve.. didn't really hurt and most people say that your nose isn't as bad as your lip even. I did get mind professionally done and i absolutely do NOT regret begging my mom for it. I love it. I will be talking to her about getting my nose done when i go with my aunt to get her lip pierced again. Yes definitely do wait for a professional.

@OfficialLolShortBus It is supposed to be the most painful but that's why im not nervous about the nose one but no it didn't hurt. I have a pain tolerance of about a 4 out of 10 and it didn't hurt very bad. It was just like a lot of pressure and a little sting.. It hurts a little for a while afterwards but it's not like horrible pain. It's more like really sore and it feels like you are pinching it for a couple hours.

The usual spot that the stud goes in, got infected with me the first time I got my nose pierced. So the piercer pierced it a tad bit lower. Never got infected again. I've had my nose pierced for five years now :)

I got mines pierced yesterday. The needle doesn't hurt so much, its just a small pinch. Putting in the nose ring hurt for me. I got the screw kind (its shaped like a spiral) so he had to twist it down. It didn't even feel like it was in my nose it felt more like someone grabbing one side of my nose and messing with it. On a scale of 1-10, a seven... lol. The pain only last while the ring was being put in for me. Its so worth it!
