In all fairness not all were true mullet heads. A mullet needs to be cut on the sides not just brushed back. Riding with the breeze and no helmet will give you a similar thinner on the sides look.

Hell I can tie mine back in a pony tail and people smile asking and thinking I finally cut it all off.
