i just bought a drum kit yesterday nd wondered what the stuff inside the bass drum is and why theres a hole in the skin?

when i saw them live Brann did not play it because its not actually plaid on a drum set, its played on African drum type things. However when they recorded it it was him who played it. I hope that gets to the bottom of it :D

haha no probs mate :P i think ill make a cover of it too, you have inspired me haha. if you're interested Brann said he was inspired to play that intro when he watched king kong and they were playing african drums on that. He explains on this video.

Thanks man. And I agree about the intro, it's definitely Brann, but I can't get it to sound good without reverb so the best option was just to leave it out.

Thanks. For the intro, I would've played it but it didn't sound right without all the reverb so I opted not to play it. And I have no idea if Brann plays it or not.

lol not intentionally i have an extra snare cause i got an oak snare now and plus i love the double floor tom at buds music it just is awesome but i like the side snare so i am going to put my old snare at that spot so put it to use and im just lookin to make my set a bit bigger nothing wrong with that lol

at buds richard has ther marble floor tom and a stock peavey custom or something but i love the sound of the marble floor tom but i got a dixon oak 13 inch
