My conclusion is at the end when hes saving his woman u can see the ship is starting to turn red ( lights in any case ). I actually liked the storyline. And I was impressed by the graphic quality and CGI for a supposed budget film. You watch SyFy movies and their grade quality of CGI is like 2001 animated films. I saw this movie today . It's a good one . If you liked movies like Cowboys And Aliens and
Independence Day, this movie is for you .
The acting isn't that great, however the special effects are spectacular and the action is gripping. My heart my pounding in some parts.
I feel sorry for U.S Military who despite all their clever Stealth technology and weaponary get vanquished in seconds .
If an Alien Invasion is imminent in the near future then God help us. We're history.

I love this movie the ending was so sad. When the machines took the girl to the pregent room it looked like they were having sex it was so wrong they should make a skyline two when jarrod comes back into human form and the freaking aliens would fucking die. Now thats for messing with humans bitches.

@jogobelca FINALLY! Someone with an intelligent comment/assessment of this movie. Even the paid critics didn't get. Independence Day and Battle for L.A. were jokes and unreal. There wouldn't be any witty heroes or a victory by humans.

People seem to complain when a movie is predictable because the "main characters survive" or "humanity survives", but they also tend to still complain when the movie isn't predictable and everyone dies. People are just never happy.
Main reason people will like Battle LA = Humanity Survives & Fights Back.

@jleefellows no, the reason why people hate this shit movie is because the acting is cheesy and sucks complete ass, and because it simply makes no sense at all, if the aliens were as flammable as they were, how did they even pass the O-zone layer? or even more importantly wouldnt the nuke have a much stronger flame effect? sense is require for SCI FI film to be intriguing. SKYLINE SUCKS, nuff said

@CGDrummer96 Critics like you blow hard. Who gives a fuck if every little single detail isn't clear, we're talking about a "supposed alien invasion". Effects were awesome, ending was sweet, and for only 10 million dollars this film is amazing. Ofc the acting would be cheesy as the actors aren't as good as they could be. But which well known actor would play a role in a 10 m budged film, when their price is 500k for participating, let alone the acting itself.

@CGDrummer96 Lol dude, at what point in the movie are the aliens REALLY durable to anything? And any aliens they supposedly "kill", come back to life effortlessly.
As for the nuke? If that nuclear bomb could only temporarily take that massive ship down for a small time, there is no way our o-zone layer could of stopped those ships.
Skyline was fine. And it was a little different. And for a budget film? It was impressively good.
You need some real evidences to attack before criticizing bud.

I actually liked the storyline. And I was impressed by the graphic quality and CGI for a supposed budget film. You watch SyFy movies and their grade quality of CGI is like 2001 animated films. But this movie had some damn good quality effects, idk what everyone is complaining about. I would of liked to see more of what happened to the world at the same time rather than just the end result, but still a good storyline.

@JoshLikesMinecraft Well think about it. If they were as advanced as us then they wouldn't be at a planet that's thousands of lightyears away from theirs. We havent been to any planets outside ours. Humans have only been to the moon. The rest of the planets were only visited by probes and sattelites. We haven't perfected faster-than-light travel yet. They have to have done atleast that to even be here.

This was the worst movie I've ever seen. Period. It was like a syfy original with a hollywood budget, it's main actor ironically enough has been in several syfy originals... And I hear there is supposed to be a sequel.
