You will need a Drop Checker in order to get the controller dialed in correctly. You adjust your set point according to the color in the drop checker. When the drop checker is a nice lime green color you stop lowering your set point.

What is the bubble counter fluid that you use? I use Glycerin, it works pretty good.

We use medical grade Nylon seals that are designed to be crushed upon installation.
This is why you are to replace the gasket upon every refill.
