@punisa Dimi Mint Abba made a couple of brilliant records for international distribution. I can not recommend them enough. The first one inspired me to do my thesis on this music.

@punisa Ooleya Mint Amartichitt has an excellent record in this style as well that is also commercially available in the west, I recommend that and both of the Dimi albums whole heartedly as an introduction to Mauritanian traditions.
