I have very fine hair and my grandmother was salon owner and beaty school proprietor and this method was called wefting when I was young and spools attached to a threadboard were used...You do very well...Where in New york are the stylist that perform this method?
I'm having problems with this. I have pretty thick textured hair, I'm Caucasian & Indian I want to use this method do extensions. I have practiced this on my dummy over 10 times & it just slides right out. Is there something I'm doing wrong? It's hard to see what you are doing in the video because the colors are so dark. Please help!
I just wanted to tell you thank you. I have been trying to find a very articulate video of how to do this technique and it is alot harder than it seems. Everyone just shows the threading already done! Is there anyway you can do this video again except with a white thread? I have a hard time seeing exactly how your going through the thread.
Thanks again! you don't know how much your knowledge is appreciated.
Awesome!!! you are the second person who can do this. My cousin who is a professional hair dresser, put this in my hair some 15 years ago. She was only person who could. Or I could find. wonderful job.
This might be a REALLY ,.... I mean REALLY silly question but instead of sewing the base can I use little rubber bands and makes like ponytails instead. I'm just thinking to do it on myself I dont think I'm as skilled as you are haha ;)
Great video and thank you for sharing NEW knowledge on the YT.
@MyMagicMakeup i've actually seen a tutorial on someone using alot of small ponys an kind of like connecting them together as a base for the sew-in, so yes that can be done
with so much fine thin thread weaved all into your head, how easy will this be to take out? Especially if the hair isn't stright after a few months? Will the thread get intertwined into the hair?
@traceymanzano the stiching will hold all you have to do is keep the ends of your hair detangled and make sure when you remove the stiching you have help very important i will be teaching classes between 15 0f nov and the 26 its 50 dollars to pre register by CC or Money Orders pls contact me Jahnalisia@hotmail,com
actually its pretty flat my best friend she is from Sicily and it works great it lasted for 1 month she was very pleased i will be holding classes in Nov 50 pre registered CC or Money orders
To get the method out you definatly need help because the thread is small and basically traceless so pls get help I will be holding classes nov 50 pre register CC or Money orders
Hey!! I've been looking for a technique to install my remy indian hair instead of bonding, cuz I want something long term and this is interesting. Wld u recommend this for short hair that's growing out? Its short at the sides and back n has length at the top
I just wanted to stop by this video and thank you again. I am now offering this service. I practiced first on family. What is the best way to get those little knots out besides scissors?. I have also learned to use a different color thread than the hair makes it easier to take the tracks out. Thanks again :0)
The best way to take the thread out is by using the tip of the needle to remove the top of knot the with scissors release the stabiltiy cutt in the center of thread for better accuracy I will be holding classes in Nov I also do presentations in salon
@Brownocean heyyy it turned out great!! It only took me a few hours and I also had some slipping but I just went over those parts...lol can't have my hair falling on the dance floor..
Thanks girl....people been just showing us how to sew it on when we already know how to do that....lol....thankI will be using this method and posting the video of my results for you....your AWESOME!!!!!
@banqinbeauty, I am that's why I thanked her, but if she doesn't want to do it she won't. Im sure if she did do it again it would be just as beneficial to me as to you=)
(STANDING OVATION!!!!) This is amazing. i have seen alot of techniques but I haven't seen it this way. Where did you learn this from? How does this technique work on black relaxed or blow dryed hair? How long does this last and how often should they get a tighten up?
I truly think that it is awesome tha tyou actually showed this technique, that everyone is searching for. When you open and share your knowledge, you're bound to experience an abundance f blessings. I would love for you to do this video again, using black thread instead so it can be more visible.

When you take this out is your hair ok at the root? Seems like the looping would cause dreadlocking in the new growth.
