This is incredible guys.. Judas was great.. and Jesus and everyone.. this was great to remind people about that He will be back, that's why they have modern things.. musically this version is much better the sound and guitars drums orchestra.. everything is amazing..as well as directing operating.. this movie is better than original and stop this quarrel..
I love how the cropped out the scene where Judas kisses Jesus. :P
It's funny, I'm not religious, but I know the stories of the bible- and I love this musical and the others like it (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat). Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice can truly make wonders for the musical theater industry. :D
@KaiXuan5 the musical jesus christ superstar is about actors portraying the final days of jesus' life with lots of modern day twists because of the fact that its brought into the modern day to say that jesus would have taught more people and more people would have been able to be aware of him in the modern day and after all it is ment to be meaningful you are just looking at it from the outside with no thought
Vocally, the 1973 film was better than this one, it's obvious. But it terms of originality, creativity and entertainment, the 2000 film wins hands down for me.

I don't belive in jesus or God, but I absolutly love this musical. I do think the origional was unbeatable, but this was a good attempt.

@borecafe THe two oppinions don't have to be combined. You don't have to believe in God to love the musical.
