  • I can't make it public, Pink, or I might have :|

  • You should post links to your fanfics in the info section. It never hurts to pimp oneself out. ;-)

  • I am sitting here in awe...this is incredible! I want my own copy, please?...I have a download program I use for youtube vids, but I'm not sure how to make it work, since it's in a protected post. Tell me you are going to do an entire series of these? I just can't get over how awesome it is! *hugs*

    Marty

  • Aww thanks Marty. If you're in my account, can't you download it if I un-embed it?

  • Hi Sian,

pitty the rating is disabled,it deserves the max. But - are you Sian from dA and other galleries? I know a few Silmmaniacs with this name, both artists and ficcers. I would expect a person who creates herself understands why credits are important, yet you give non to artists and to the amazing music, Kronos Quartet if I remember well. Please fix it,add all the credits in description (and tell me who this hot guy is, Cherif Fortin?).

    Cheers,

    Sirielle

  • Hi there, Himring. The music was sent to me last year. I'll add Kronos Quartet. The pictures have been sent and saved over 6 years were on my hard drive for a long time, before I started playing around with Windows Movie Maker. The Maglor pictures are from an illustrated book I have and were scanned by a friend and yes, it is Cherif Fortin. I've seen a couple of the artists around,so will add credits.

  • I really enjoyed this - and those violet eyes....whoa! :-)

  • Thank you lorrie. It's part of a Tolkien based fanfiction story, the whole things is much too long to go into ten mins, lol XD.

I did the eyes on Photo clinic :)

  • Great music and vid, 5* A.D. :))

  • Thank you and I am glad your comment is now in English, as it was in German last night and I was stumped!

  • I really still don't understand how this could happen, I'm still in Holland not Germany lol.. A.D. :))

  • As long as it comes up here in English we're okay d:-)

  • Thank you very much :)

  • Very impressive! I love all things true to Tolkien.

  • Well, actually, the story is Alternate Universe, and thus it is not precisely true to Tolkien. Mire of a " What if? " story. But thank you for your comment.

  • Sorry for my ignorance. I just finished reading "The Silmarillion" for the first time and hoped the story in your video was in there somewhere,it was so intriguing. It certainly would have fit.

I read "Lord of the Rings" several years ago and absolutely loved it. Now I can read it again with a completely new understanding of the history. The Silmarillion is just like the creation and fall in the Bible.

  • Oh the Silmarillion is my favorite book, just magnificent, I must have gone through two copies and now am on the third, lol. They fall apart. This story is actually set just prior to Sauron being taken to Numenor, so is in the Second Age. It was said no-one knew what became of Maglor, and I have always felt impossibly sad at that and had to do * something * with him. Thank you for the comment.

  • Good heavens!! From the display on my screen, I did not think my original comments came through. I tried to do a spell check, though I'm usually pretty good with spelling, but it froze my screen and posted my comment anyway.

Sorry, but you may get the same comment in a slightly altered form. This media is very new to me. A few months ago my brother gave me a high speed computer and I switched from dial-up to DSL. A whole new world has been opened to me. Thank you!

  • Don't worry, it does freeze and just says comment posted, it used to come up with the comment before they upgraded I think. I am not very computer literate I'm afraid, but I did notice that now you can't see the comment without opening the page again. :)

  • Sorry for my ignorance. I just finished reading "The Silmarillion" and realized your video story was not in there and was quite dissapointed. I think it would have fit perfectly somewhere in the story.

I read "Lord of the Rings" several years ago, (before the movies), but had not read about the creation (Silmarillion) of Middle Earth. It is the same story as the creation account in the bible. I am now reading "Lord of the Rings" again with a completely new understanding and appeciation.

  • The music was awesome; it really set the mood for the dynamic artwork in the video.

  • It's great music, isn't it? I sometimes write with it in the background for the atmosphere. Requiem for a Dream I think it is and I think it is just * very * Tolkien and would fit anything Tolkienesque. Thank you very much.

  • Awsome!

  • Oh, that's nice. Thank you!

  • Well, it wasn't really for that Gwaithmir - I like that name you have chosen, actually. Sometimes I get urges to play with images, the problem is finding them. Need a tame artist d;-)As ricvanman says when he wants actors and actresses, payment in tea ind biscuits.

  • Excellent! I hope this encourages people to read your story on lotrfanfiction dot com.
