GRACIAS ! !, I WOULD LIKE TO SAY PERSONALLY THANK YOU, BUT I HAVE NO CONTTACT NUMBER..IF YOU CAN SEND IT TO ME THROUGH MY E-MAIL, dapsada@yahoo.com) I will appreciate it very much, again, my heartfelt thanks
very well done video fairly showing both methods. I plan to use this in my catechism class as well as some of the other videos you have created. thanks :)
@TheRougeHawksClan Kneeling and Recieving on the tongue is the perfect option, however unfortunately things have changed, for some reason, now we don't kneel down anymore so now if you want to kneel you would be the only one in your parish to do so and would delay the communion.
Things should go back. Kneeling and recieving on the tongue only. It makes me sad to see that I am pretty much the only one in my parish to recieve on tongue.
@TheRougeHawksClan The other thing I do, which is the perfect way to do it even though nobody does anymore, is that when we kneel at our bench just before communion, when it is our rows turn to get up and queue up for communion, I do nothing but bowing my head and have my hands in prayer (flat, not fingers into each other) This shows you take it very serious. Especially your priest will notice.
@TheRougeHawksClan Also to set an example in the parish. Kneeling during communion is tricky as I said but approaching and leaving when recieving the body of Christ with head in bow and hands in prayer are still in power and everyone is supposed to do it, not just children on their first communion, so go ahead and do this and your priest will be very pleased.
I like the practical suggestions given, however, there is absolutely nothing wrong with receiving the Eucharist while kneeling or making a genuflection. I can understand that some awkward situations can occur when the faithful make certain gestures but communion is not meant to be rushed while at the same time not duly prolonged. I've heard priest after priest say that communion should not be denied to those who receive while kneeling. Also, bringing back patens might help with some issues.

3rd option? Kneeling? Anyone....after all it is GOD we are approaching. I mean if God came to me I wouldn't be standing....(HINT HINT)
