My Firefox was upgrade to the latest version 2 days ago, and I have been having nothing but problems. Today, I switched to Opera. It's awesome! If you like addons/extensions for Firefox, you will love the widgets for Opera. I got everything I need and some. Opera now runs faster and use less memory than Firefox. I also imported all my FF bookmarks, and sync'd up with Opera, kind like Foxmarks. I probably wouldn't go back to FF if they do fix all the crashings and dead popup links.
its a simple code that is making firefox do this. get ad block plus and then message me for futher instructions cause i cant put the code in this comment box.
latest firefox always crashes on YT for me now... when look for stuff or on various search pages...all of a sudden, firefox crash-report, must be all the data they are trying to sucker out of you... bet you google-chrome works perfectly... a legal Trojan horse of sorts, but yeah i can just feel it... everything you search for type in whatever, it's collected and then gets sent some place...then it dies, vista reports 'data protection errors' at time... fucking dodgy
And one time I was downloading and watching a video at the same time, my download was so close to being finished until mozilla just crashed for no reason. >:(
This might fix your problems because I got this alot while uploading. In the original Firefox folder. There is a folder called "Extensions" Click that and there is a folder that has a really long ass name {9fFD. Something like that anyways move the folder to another folder the one with long ass name is the reason why it crashes. Ever since I done this it as never crashed again. But it doesnt always work.
I know exactly how to fix all of Firefox 3 Crashes! You are all in luck, I know how to fix it! It deals with a certain folder that makes it does that! A bug! Just look at my newly uploaded tutorial on it! Thanks!
same. it's probably flash player. I'm gonna reinstall adobe flash player, and the flash player plugin. Maybe there's a 3rd party flash player plugin we can use? I know in Linux there are 3rd party flash plugins, cuz adobe doesn't have a *nix plugin (as of last year, anyway...)

Flash player crashes due to the following reasons:
Corrupted Flash Player.
Corrupted Windows Registry.
Outdated drivers.
Infected System.
Use a system utility software like RegInOut to fix this problem

There can be two issues:
1. Virus (Use AVG free)
2.. Corrupt registry ( Use reginout)
I am sure it will help you.

@fastandfurioustokyo on the address bar type about:config check the box and press " I'll be careful and Promise" button.
copy paste dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs on that page and double click it once it finds it. Set the value to 10secs.
It will make the page crash but it will reload and it will NOT take kick you out of the browser.

Firefox = Fail (And yes I do have firefox 3.)
Internet Explorer = No crashes and best choice.
I won't be using Firefox until they get a new update or fixed the bug.
