I 1st began by praising the mood you captured & the multi-sensory experience you created in this video - then noticed I was WAY over the character limit! I probably could re-write it all in an e-mail. Any idea what happened to this place? Fire? Panning shots at 1:20 & 2:20 show huge wooden support beams that appear to be charred, as do some views of the interior stone walls here & there. True, maybe it's just shadows, but with 12"+ stone walls, what else could have caused this type of damage?

in some old castles like that one they were destroyed by the normans so the britts could not get a defencive position the romans did it too but this one looks to me like it just got too expensive to keep ontop off and the older familys that had these castles ran out of money centurys ago and you can never trace the origanal owners cos there just isnt any i hope that helps and sorry for the spelling
