@firmclock not exactly, you have to heat it up too 200 too 210 degrees, and keeping it 4 too 41/2 turns out on the high speed needle (super rich setting) for its first tank you let it idle, then drive on 1/4 throttle keeping it at 200 too 210F then 4 tank start driving at half throttle, from back and fourth to the 6th tank, drive at full throttle to 8th tank, then you will have a great broken in Traxxas engine i made this method up a year ago and my engine is still running on it's 6th gallon

first make sure you know how to tune it for the power and if thats all good you have to tighten the slipper clutch.

your gonna wanna tighten your slipper right up and also tighten the CB and spur mesh up. although youll go though more spurs this way.. or you could put on a higher tooth CB to give you more torque but a lower top speed

Yes, you do adjust the low speed needle for better acceleration. the high speed needle is for WOT. Good vid BTW :D

Trust me you don't ahve to use top fuel. I thoguth the same thing but it accuality isn't the best brand fuel. It isjust another way of Traxxas naking more money. You can use anyfuel. But Sidewinder is one of the best

you need to give the engine a rest, and let it cool down. i made the mistake with my 2.5r revo and it just wore it out, and it never ran the same ever again. so i would recommend letting it sit atleast 15 minutes between tanks to make sure it cools down a little bit.
