  • You managed to do in 10 minutes what my Algebra professor failed to do in 2 1/2 hours

  • OMG i could cry happy tears right now....i felt like such a dummy now i feel so smart woot woot

  • ...you sound so hot.

  • thank you so muchh

  • THANK YOU!! my teacher sucks!!!

  • I'm fairly sure your supposed to put your first term over the second term: x over 3x not over x^2.

  • omfg THANK YOU!!!!

  • factor theorem is much simpler, although I have forgotten using this technique so watching a rather clear explanation was rather refreshing.

  • finally!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was getting stuck at the first part all the time but now i actually know how to do the whole sum ty so much

  • Forget teachers, Teachers do the problems on the board in front of you. Give you a worksheet of dividing polynomials and say, "Do It."

    -_-

    Thumbs up if you agree!!!!!!!!!!

  • WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOOWOWOW THANK YOUUUUUUU

  • Thank you!

This helped a lot, I've always had trouble with long division when I first learn it. Even in elementary school!

  • thanks girl i love you!

  • Algebra 1? Im doing this in Algebra 2 LOL. But thqnks. Helped loads.

  • Thanks for the video, helped me a lot.

  • fucking love you.

  • So you are the best!!!!!

  • thx

  • Thanks!!!

  • U rock!!!!!! Thanx!!!!!

  • Fred Savage is the Justin Beiber of the 90s.

  • thnx I was starting to fail math class because of this =)

  • You are the most helpful person on Youtube!!! God Bless You!!!! XD

  • your cool

  • can you bring down two numbers e.g. x-6 both at same time or does that mess this method up?

  • Thnx!!! u Helped a lot

  • Fab!!

  • i was sleeping when my teacher taught us this so thnaks alot!!

  • thanks! helped me alot :))

  • Im loosing hope and patience to understand this ...

And then you posted this video, IT REALLY HELPED ME!

  • Omg I love you

  • Thank you for this video. Very clear, concise and helpful!

  • Thanks! This was perfect for helping me with A-level Maths!

  • She makes it look easy.

  • 1:54 should be -2x not 8x!

  • @ZekePolite1775 No. Remember the negative at the beginning of the parenthesis? This turns the -5x into +5x.

    Hope this helps.

  • @rustytoe178 I dont understand how to add and substract negitive numbers when they have different signs. please help. for example.. -3- -5? or 3+-5? i dont understand the rules when you add or substract negitive numbers/

  • @ZekePolite1775 Okay, if you have two negatives, it switches the operation.

    Adding negatives is simply a takeaway; negative 3 + -5 is just 3 - 5.

Take -3 - -5. Start at -3. When you have two minus signs they cancel out, so just just add. so -3 - -5 really means -3 +5, which is positive 2.

  • dude thank you very much....i strugled to get it but you helped me a lot.......tons of thanks to u my friend

  • thanks very much..subbed :D

  • wow better than khanacademy

  • What happens if you divid by a term with a square in it...for example: 2x^2

  • I love you for this!! I have a midterm tomorrow and I forgot the formula for it and now it's like totally refreshed with put slaveing over text books

  • This is not the way they are teaching me. help

  • thanks you for existing x.x you just helped me pass

  • Thank you!!! :) Your video is wonderfully clear and easy to follow.

  • great! now hopefully i wont fayul meh math test tomorrow! thank you!

  • And i pay for college math courses.......

  • Ty very much!!! i wish u were my math teacher xD

  • ty so much

  • a bit of a hint to everyone! my teacher taught is that having negatives on problems is just to confusing. that is why she says if its "x-5" to make it easier, write it as "x + -5" this is a lot less confusing. spread the word. :)

  • THANK YUU!!!! ;D that helped so much.(:

  • I love you...I have no clue why out of everything I've learned this was the hardest to grasp. SO SIMPLE. Duh! Thank you very much

  • I love you.

  • Thank you you 've been amazing!!

  • i dont get it so you dont touch the 1 in 2x+1?

  • thank you so much, simple, yet effective, i can honestly say in the ten mins of this vid i learned how to dividie polynomials

  • This Broad knows what she doing

    Thanks

  • Sweet, I have the first comment with FUCK in it:D

  • the best vid i found

  • @Michalis3000 no its not XD

  • i like her voice too, its calming

  • i like her voice, it sounds someone beautiful haha

  • why do you need to put 0x in it??? pls. explain the pattern pls. thanks..,...

  • @renzopogie because in a polynomial you have to have descending orders of powers, which means if you have something to the power of 5, you also need to have powers 4, 3, 2, 1. It just acts as a place holder while you are doing division.

  • Thank you!!

  • Thank you so much!! This was a huge help!! :)

  • the one dislike doesn't get math AHAHAHAHA WHATA LOSER!!! I get it, thanx guy

  • You helped me study for my test tomorrow

  • very clear and helpful, thanks.

  • Awesome!! Thanks!

  • thanx for making it so simple

  • Great! At last the penny drops! lol...

  • Don't you put the x on top of 3x and not x squared?

  • I'd like to go in your inside ;)

  • THIS VIDEO REALLY HELPED ME... SOO I OT AN A+

  • I failed this class like 2 years in a row but thanks to this vid I was able to pass that class with 59.51%

  • this doesn't explain everything.

  • thumbs up. I wish you were my math teacher

  • thank you!

  • Thanks a lot!

  • i thought +3 -5 = -2? because i thought negative and positives equal negative?

  • thank you very much, that was clear and helpful

  • i've been trying to understand this for about a week, and in just 10 minutes I get it! thanks so much!

  • Your aweessommeeee! Thank you!

  • Thank you, not lost anymore, because the past 2 years my math teachers don't teach anything comprehensively

  • Keep up the good work JC. Thanks for posting and you definately shed some light in the darkness for me.

  • My math teacher is horrible at explaining things. Of course I am a little slow at math, so that could be part of it.

  • 3x - 5x = 8x???

  • @mixolidianmode no, 3x-(-5x)= 8

when you subtract a negative, you get a plus instead of a minus

    --=+

  • Comment removed

  • @mixolidianmode

    yeah i meant multiplying

    -sorry for the confusion

  • @mixolidianmode I know..... Either it's a mistake our 5-3 isn't 2.

  • WOW my teacher couldnt teach me this in a week but i just learned it in 10 min from here

  • Thanx this really helped. Now i know how to do this before i was like lost but not anymore. Thanx alot again.

  • This rocks. I was just learning about dividing polynomials, and was completely stopped. This helped me a lot, thanks!!

  • *stumped

  • This is the best., I learned it from this video. I had forgitten how to do it and have a mid term tomorrow. Thanks jcmaslin

  • omg this is very nice

  • wow.. why go to school with these videos up on youtube

  • thank you so much! I did not get this AT ALL and now it's super easy! :)

  • You made something that seemed and was impossible to do turn into a piece of cake! ;) merci.

  • how do you divide polynomials if you on only have one term as your divisor?

  • If You have only one term as your divisor It's SOOO much easier. All you do is divide the one term into the polynomial one number at a time.

  • @hellokittyrocksyodad In general when dividing you get a fraction. So when divining polynomials with one term you get a classic fraction. :)

  • @hellokittyrocksyodad Look up polynomials divided by Molynomials.

  • omg omg you must die ryt now!!!
