All That Remains, Killswitch Engage, Trivium, As i Lay Dying, and Five Finger Death Punch, all all hardcore bands and they all kick ass. the main riff sounds more or less like "eye of the beholder" from metallica xD .. i find this band to have very similar sounds in their songs from bands like slayer, metallica, and other greats of the thrash, but i dont think there´s anything wrong with it, instead, i admire them for bringing true thrash into the young actual musical scene, me and my friends also have strong influences from other bands, i think its totally normal, been like that since the 30´s, all begun with robert jhonson xD

Dave, James, Lars, and cliff i think all paved the way for heavy metal. But slayer really helped to create this awesome super thrash that evile plays.
