I ran into my friend at the FVT tour & she was with her other friends, & they'd never heard of Diru but they all said how much they sucked and patted each other on the backs for it.

Been friends for 7 years but we didn't speak for months after that. But we're friends again we just... mutually don't mention "the incident." Though I still think she was lame.

I don't think it's so much that Americans are rude, but Deftones fans. When I went to see DeG with the Deftones, I was royally pissed off at the way the Deftones fans were disrespecting DeG, booing and flipping them off and such. I actually bitched out this dude I was so mad. But when I went to see DeG the first time, when they were headlining their own tour, it was amazing. So pretty much, Deftones fans suck!

i was at the warfield concert in SF for the deftones tour... i think the crowd was more pumped for Diru than they were for deftones...

i agree with most of the comments that have been posted.there is a lack of respect to unknown bands.i dont like to boo people it just not nice.i live in america. yeah it bothers me how people get bold or try to act cool and boo bands. but luckly at the deftones concert no boos but one asshole said "you suck" in the end. i was like "wtf?" my friend cussed him out. i cant lie though in europe there is a bigger dir en grey fan base than here. that must be why they go there more. i love diru.

I know what you're saying. I've never booed anyone before and don't think I'm going to start anytime soon. But I've been to concerts where I had no idea who the opening act was and thought that they sucked. I didn't boo them but I wasn't cheering them on and certainly wasn't above talking about the band or their fans...

I'm going to stop defending them though. I just wanted to say that maybe not everyone booed for the same reason. Not all of us are like that.

i am appaled by the rudeness of the Americans. Dir en grey were in England and i went to see them in concert and they were amazing. I dont see any reason for booing cause Kyo sounded incredible live, his voice was divine.

I just defended those people because I didn't want people to think all of us are like that. I probably should have just said this in the first place but it was a reaction I guess.

At least I can say that I saw a video someone made from when they played in my area and no one booed them.

Dir en grey doesn't have real control over sales of their items. You might want to pitch that idea to Free Will America and maybe push them to see if they can re-release some stuff. :) I know how crazily expensive CDs and merch is.

Plus, asking them about Portland and Seattle is a little bit biased, don't you think? You may want to ask a general "how was it being on the west coast?" question.

Next album? Why waste a question? You'll probably just get a "wait and see" or a "we're not sure."
