  • @jacobbeahm um, you know Metallica formed in 1981, this is set in the early 80's. So yep, they did exist. idiot.

  • @patward112 im refering to disco demolition night which was on July 12, 1979 and he said he didnt see people bringing metallica records they couldnt because metallica didnt fucking exist yet

  • great doc! and funny with the punk/house connection. first warehouse party I ever went to,(SS Chicago, one of the 2 white guys. haha) it tripped me out that they were basically slam dancing to acid tracks. oh and by the way, Chicago house didn't die in the 90's. it just went underground. Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, etc. took it to a whole 'nother level and went on to be world wide. the underground warehouse parties were still going on side by side with the brand new thing called "rave"

  • So great the way the UK embraced the new sound & developed it further, even when it had died in Chicago. These pioneers could have had no idea it was gonna change British Culture & British Society forever.

  • @bootsamou Died In Chicago?? lol

  • Thank you so much for this.

Previously it has been in 13 parts on here.

Now, at last, after 20yrs, I can download this & make a dvd to treasure.

    Wonderful years.

    xx
