@bosshunterman Obviously we're using different sources. The speed of cars depends on outside conditions, not just the strength of the engine. I, however, am using a single source for my 0-60 times. Motortrend rated the SLS at 3.8 and the SLR at 4.1 on the same track, with similar conditions.

The SLS and SLR has about the same weight, but the SLR is a bit more powerful (650hp vs 569hp) and it's supercharged engine has unbeatable torque in it's class (820NM vs 620NM)

So the SLS simply not in the SLR's class and it has no way to beat it on a drag race.....

the SLS was a freak design wich originally started as the next generation Viper but Daimler Chrysler decided to use it as the SLS wich is why it uses the ACRs platform. its just a small 6.2liter and its damn fast . an 08-2010 Viper SRT10 or 2010 ACR would murder 599 . the SRT10 has an identical 0-60 and 1/4 as the Enzo- both running a stock best of 10-9 at 129. the Enzo had a higher trap speed of 133. so for a million dollars you got .1 quicker ETA lol.

@dddjjf 6200cc is just small..american..and the platform isn t the same at all..chrysler and mercedes have been separated since years..as for the acr..there is no official record under 11s..as there isn t for the enzo..the acr is well over 11, the enzo around 11,0.....however acr did a good work turning a slow car (far away from the declared times..4,45 on 0-100 against 3,9 and 298,7 to 314..around 22,40 if i well remember on the km..) into a pretty fast one,even if nordschliefe time is "false"

honestly, I'm not sure why this race was so uneven. I like both cars 599 California and SLS (liked the Original SLR more than either of these). Regardless, 599 California is very very fast car with just over 600 hp(it's a detuned Enzo engine). New SLS is down on power from SLR, but also lighter. Either way this race should've been much closer...???
