PVC pipe with a nail at the bottom. Drop the mentos into coke, seal it, and flip it cap down into the PVC pipe. Nail goes through cap and shoots it off like a rocket.

Mentos rocket mortar: metal is HVAC ducting from Home Depot with an end cap. Screwed the endcap into the duct and the board. Took a couple pieces of angle-iron and ground the sides to razor sharp blades and screwed those to the board. The bottle actually had one piece of dry ice within a plastic bag. I shook the bottle until the dry ice came out of the bag and rapidly expanded. Gave enuf pressure so then the cap was sliced by the blades, it shot out.
