  • Best on album

  • god. i carried this record around myself through the years of 13 to 15 like a bastard. forever loved.

  • Any idea what the dialogue between 0:52 and 1:06 actually says? (all I can make out is "and the midnight came upon her" or something :\ )

  • @shotgundestiny2001 thats from the great beast speaks ALEISTER CROWLEY 666

  • @shotgundestiny2001 They are excerpts from The Great Beast Speaks, an Audio collection of Crowley's speeches. Watch qMN4Du2qdNk#t=6m20s

  • people.....this band, is the old roots rising, may they continue too be with with us

  • @krukon666 nope

  • Aquisto assolutamente imprescindibile!!! :-O

  • This song is among the best from my childhood's top ten list!

    Epic solo as well!!

  • i think all their songs are their best songs

  • There is some kind of magic in their music. Really amazing

  • ONE OF THE BEST SONGS!

  • They have vamp songs!!! ^,.,^

    That's how I discovered them. ^^

  • Moonspell were at their creative peak around this stage. they were huge too. shame their popularity took a nosedive after 'The Butterfly Effect'.

  • Omg, I had start to listen to this song over and over, and know I realised that the solo, gosh, I'm so addited to it. Moonspell is one of my fav bands, and everyone who is Portuguese like me, should feel happy, to have a metal band like this in our country. The batery, the guitars, the vocals are such unique, and together fit so fucking cool. MOONSPELL AND METAL FOR EVER.

  • @lilGoncas

    I know I am.

And ain't this the only metal band here?

  • Yes it is.. unfortunately.

  • Crowley was Langsuyar's biggest inspiration on his BM project Daemonarch, as well as old BM version of Moonspell (Anno Satanae and Under The Moonspell, Under Satanae was too polished to be an underground BM album), he might have used some Crowley in Serpent Angel when they were Morbid God...

  • This album specificly is Doom/Goth. And a fucking awesome album it is! I don't like this song too much, but the rest is brilliant.

  • i talked with fernando ribeiro and he said moonspell are gothic black metal

  • hmm, as my girlfriend has once said about something different: they are like little bit of everything mixed with tomatos :D

  • M§ best black metal band ever

  • Amazing album - bought it HS senior year (1996) because the cover looked cool...what a good choice. Miss 90s metal - when it was all about talent.

  • I remember when I was 12 years. My friends were super excited about paparoach, Linking Park and others.

But I spent listening to the Moonspell, Crematory, Theater of Tragedy and others.

    Greetings!

  • while papa roach and linkin park sucks, dont take too much pride in listening to theater of tragedy and crematiry, the certainly are fagotish doom gothic bands... =) cheers

  • What I meant was that many young people believe that listening to commercial bands, is best, completely unaware that there are other better bands. I'm not proud of anything. Greetings!!!

  • Indeed this is a legendary solo...like many others of moospell.

  • Legendary guitar solo.

  • Excellent song!

Man, this is the best song of the best album of Moonspell...

Say, does anyone knows what the voice at the beginning says??

I only catched something about "hail upon us"...

  • ive heard it's taken from the crowley's speech, but Im not sure of it, can be rumor. Anyway i think this same: the best of the best of the best :3

  • this album has the direct tap into the heart of gothic/dark/hellish music. fucking great.

  • Hell is cool man!

  • theres a song in this album call look me some body please put it

  • herr spiegelmann? ill do it

  • yea herr spiegelmann..and do me a favour..try to put "for a taste of eternity" thanks pal

  • try to buy the fucking album :)believe me, it´s worth it...

  • For this solo they should get something like eternal stock of beer, immortal fame, or whatever.

  • how about omniscience and immortality? to write more great songs like this one ^^
