  • Nice switch board! Mine is missing al parts of the 10th switch =(

  • Great trigger discipline, WW2 enthusiasts, veterans, and skin heads alike will be proud.

  • Very nice how much is a WW2 German switchboard. I am looking to get one sometime because my Reenacting unit is looking to buy one for our FF33's.

  • @myYTwashackedbyanoob They can be around $300-$400. I see them on German ebay once in awhile. It's hard to find them with the metal top cover sometimes. Also when looking for one, look for any post-war modifications. Sometimes the cloth cords have been replaced and some repairs that make them look different from the original.

  • @azazel87 Danke Kamerad!

  • great video, I also have two of these phones.

  • awswum wuger dude but it looks like a repro.

  • Are you going to do a part 4?

  • @jeromz93 Maybe

  • how much was the field phone, and which store did you get it from if you bought it from one??

  • there should be another output on the phone for a tonschreiber magnetophon.

  • Ich bin herrlich!

    Danke

    Auf Wiedersehen

  • Hey man, check my account. I have Swiss field phones that are modeled very close to those.

  • hi man love the field phone ste but can you still call with the phone

  • Yes, they still work.

  • @azazel87 and they are origanlly from the 40s!!!!

  • How the filed phone works ? like a cellphone ?

  • nice i wish i had this cool stuff

  • i prefer to smallest gun in the world XD but i love this baby aswell!!!

  • The P38 pistol you have is that weapon still able to fire or has it been deactivated?

  • It still fires.

  • niiicccceee i am a colector to but i am 13 i love the german STUFF!!!

  • With all of your gear, about how much did it cost you altogether?

  • you should buy more ss camo or guns maybe even daggers or dress swords more cooler then a phone man

  • I do have a few daggers and two swords but I don't like them as much as Ilike the equipment. I like the phones because they still work and there are so many different specialized parts and equipment for them. It's difficult to track down some of this stuff, which is the best part of collecting it.

  • FINALLY! A good impression on youtube, thank you sir. This video is now the best impression I have seen. you have put a great amount of time and research into it, im breathless

  • what is the music at the ending?

  • Man, you are utterly amazing!!! Great video, great video!

  • good video thank you

  • Who did have the best equipment of the whole war?I know Germany had the best tanks?but what was better or inferior to the allies?i know that quantity was prefered to quality where the Allies were concerned!

  • German

  • so it was germany's euipment that was best thks umberto44

  • No problem.

Did you know Germany invented the first Assault Rifles?

And the MG 42 was one of the best GPMG, even to today's standards.

  • umberto44 yes i did know but thks anyway, didnt it start out as the mp40 then they developed it and ended up with stg44?correct me if iam wrong!was'nt the mg42 knicknamed Hitlers buzzsaw!or am i thinking of another.

  • MP40- STG44 were different gun, and were made by diferent companys.

Ive never heard the MG42 being called a Buzzsaw but it was said to Roar!

  • redriot74, the Germans surely had better field equipment and WAY better weapons. I have WORN OUT 2 modern Colt 1911 pistols. Yet, my Luger and P-38 pistols shoot beautifully after years of use and are more accurate. My only complaint is that 9mm rounds are whimpy compared to 45acp. But I believe that a Luger is the finest semi-auto pistol ever made. They are getting more expensive to buy now though. I'm thinking of getting another one just because they are so awesome.

  • I have an ff 33 phone and I've seen most of the equip. for it except the transducer. What is the transducer 's function?

  • It's also called the "Phantom" device, I believe its used for tapping into enemy communication lines. I tried it out using some American field phones and it worked.

  • Did you have to actually tap the lines or is it a wireless reciever?

  • Yes, you have to find the wire and and tap it.

  • That P-38 is gorgeous

  • Thanks.

  • My Grandfather drove an American tank in this war and he told me that they came up to a town and a warehouse there was full of brand new pistols packed in grease (wood crates) thousands of crates. I asked if they took any, and he told me that he didn't but lots of guys did and shipped stuff home a little at a time. Some sold pistols to Pilots for big bucks back then..Imagine that stuff stashed away in a warehouse somewhere today..damn.

  • Nice gear

  • amazing man that cost a lot i think but is everything real

  • Yes, everything is real and made during the the war.

  • Walther P-38.

  • That is way cool. I just bought an old field telephone from a surplus store in Vancouver, BC that's in a wooden case. I want to hook two of them up just for fun. Do you know of any sites that has instructions for hooking them up or how to build a simple switchboard for them?

  • Also, I've been told that I might be able to just hook two wires up to each phone and it should be as simple as that, but what I'm not so sure of is well... Wouldn't it need a battery or some source of power? If so, how do you place it on the system?

  • Also want to still be able to ring the other phone if that's possible without frying the battery. LOL

  • These items look pretty much like those I had to use in the Bundeswehr in 90s, imagine that!

It wasn't made of wood and Bakelite but plastic, but the basic design seems to be the same.

You really can just hook up two of these, that's for sure. It's been a long time. All I can remember is that there's a compartment for a 1,5V battery in this case. Crank it up and the other phone or the operator switchboard rings. These switchboards were mainly used in field-HQs for the 'Kompanieführer'.

  • nice gear. i posted a videoof some of my gear if u want to watch and give me yur opinion.

  • YEAHH! more goodies to show! :)

  • cool communications set but i have never been a fan of peadot 44

  • Impressive piece of WW2 kit... interesting to see how the German's did comms... Thanx for the lesson Azazel

  • Very nice dude! I am jealous of your real p38!

  • love it dude, about time you got a new video up
