I wish I owned this game. I have Sons of Liberty and Peace Walker (PSP), but now I want this for my collection. Snake Eater will do also but prefer this game because of the new free-look camera and multiplayer modes.

Man I just got the hd release of this for the 360. The controls are completely broken, even more so then mgs 2. Why is it that every time I fire a bullet he puts away his gun? I've got like 6 guys shooting at me and I'm using an assault rifle, I press 3 buttons just to get to the point that I can aim at them, then I fire off a few auto rounds and then he puts the gun away. Then I have to press another two buttons just to ready the gun again. Utterly stupid.

@BronzeRatz I played MGS2 for the xbox years ago so I'm used to them, but there is no excuse for how retarded the controls are in MGS3... and frankly the controls are wretched in 2 as well. I could easily come up with a better more user friendly control scheme that allowed for the same amount of actions you need to perform in this game.

i like the shows but its hard to complete but i almost end it in ps2

the boss is so astronge in the game i deveted the fear and the pain and thats asniper all are easy its fun to play

Armature game play. Try playing on expert without a suppressed gun. Just your trusty knife. Face it, the suppressor goes by lightning fast anyway and you can never find one. I've learned NOT to rely on it. But my ghod. THAT CAMERA SUCKS. Every time I get caught, is because I couldn't see a Guy, or I'm prone hiding in the grass, and I can pan the camera because its in FPS mode. Ugh!

I wish I played Subsistence. I love MGS4, but had a hard time getting into Snake Eater, because I didn't like the old fasion bird's eye view. To see that Subsistence plays like MGS4 makes me very happy.

@CrazyRockstar16 See how the camera is close in on Snake in this game? Thats what he means. In the original Snake Eater it was a top down camera which meant you could only see like the top of snake really. You'd have to go into 1st person or press against walls to get a good view. That of course made the game a pain in the ass. I actually am looking for a copy of Subsistence now cause Snake Eater is driving me effing nuts.

I actually enjoyed the original fixed camera angle.  it provided a cinematic feel to the game that is part of the mgs style.

@punchmaster123 Subsistence came with a second camera (3D Camera) which made the gameplay a lot more enjoyable, and an online multiplayer mode, and other little extras like funny cut scenes and that kind of thing.

@protoZ3r yeah it is, you have to use the right stick to look a little a head, or hold triangle to look in first person view

thats why they put the 3D camera in Subsistence, because a lot of people complained about the old camera

@maliciavivaYT Yeah I know its difficult, but That Over the TOP camera view is the SIGNATURE of MGS. i mean that VIEW started it all.. but hey, I cant complain about the 3d person either.. XD.. But I rather Play the game using the Original view, and if I am struggling with a part, I will switch to 3rd person :)

@MrRamsay8 MGS2 will be based on MGS2 Substance but im not to sure if that has a camera like this, however MGS3 will be based on MGS3 subsistence (this version) hence, 3d camera in MGS HD Collection! YAY!!! And peace walker will have the 3d camera because that is how it was made. So to sum up im not sure MGS2 will have the 3d camera, but MGS3 and peace walker will DEFINITELY have the 3d camera in MGS HD Collection!!! :D
