I don't care what anyone says, Rocky III is one of the best Rocky movies ever. The second film was lacking - it was just a rehash of the first film. But in Rocky III, the character of Clubber Lane create a REAL THREAT to Rocky and got the audience involved. The unexpected death of Mickey and Apollo Creed's new comradere with Rocky added extra humanity to the film. And the fight scenes are some of the best ever.
