I was in Prague celebrating New Year 2009./10. On jannuary 1st we were on dinner on the boat, crusing Vltava river. On our back to hotel our guide took us to metro drive. I get scared of down-step elevator so I didn't see Prague's metro. I returned to hotel by taxi.

So sad and mad!!!

mno .... jednou sem sedel v metru a stal se mi dvojitej omyl=): Prisel duchodce a vytach na me legitku. ja byl zamyslenej a myslel sem, ze je to revizor, tak sem mu ukazal litacku a von na me: "aha tak pardon..." a sel otravovat nekoho jinyho... =) a pak mi to teprve doslo ... ale to uz sedel ( samozrejme bych ho pustil sednout za normalnich okolnosti )... takovy normalni pondelni rano =P

jo to se mi taky jednou stalo, jela sem jen jednu zastávku z čerňáku na rajskou a zrovna sem u sebe neměla kartu...teďka jenom přijde nějak děda a začne na mě vytahovat nějakou kartu...tak já uplně zrudnu začnu dělat že jako hledám tu svoju kartu :D a pak on už nervozni že jestli si už jako nechcu stoupnout :D páč on byl ZTP nebo něco takovyho, ne revizor :D

this video doesn't really portray my experiences of Prague, or it's Metro system. The stations were very quiet, even when busy, people didn't talk even to their friends. They were interesting, and often beautiful places to be but in no way warm or inviting. Prague is somewhere everyone should go, just to experience a culture so routed in the past but so close to the future.

Very stylish! I love the way the people on the platform make way for the people leaving the train. Prague's metro has to be the best in Europe. Its routes are comprehensive - they go where people want to go - the stations are architectural gems and the on-train announcements are clear and unobtrusive, no matter how often you hear them. It got me most place in Praha, and I had to be in a lot of places around the area, because of my job. I had a lot of teaching classes that were all over the place. I wouldn't accomplish this in Los Angeles, unfortunately. I had been to Paris, and I think that even if it is in a much smaller area, The Praha Metro is as good,
