@1997gators Even though your comment is 3 years old, I too remember the Rockaways, and what once was. I was born in 1971 but going to Rockaway's Playland was always a treat. I go back as far as remembering Martin's Corner across from Playland on B98 street, Pinky's Fasination which was the arcade across from Martin's Corner, and next to the electric go-carts. And I can't forget aboutthe consession stand that was down on Rockaway Beach Blvd on B 95th street.

I was born and raised in Rockaway, born in 1955, and knew the Auers
well; in fact, my next door neighbor married one of them.

Lived in Rockaway back in the 70's. Great video, thanks for the great memories! Awesome 911 tribute as well. God Bless America!
