Mac laptops are generally a lot better than PC laptops when it comes to anything other than intense gaming of course though they cost a hell of a lot more. I had a 2011 Macbook Pro that was powerful by normal laptop standards (I've since downgraded). As for desktops, Apple and Alienware are equally pathetic.

I will say that in the Mac vs PC debate the Mac wins on the laptop side and PC wins on the desktop side. The Macbook Pro is just overall better than a windows laptop, the design and the specs are equal or better. Mac OS is more stable as well. PC's re much better though for desktops. They are easily customizable and you can build an amazing machine for a low price if you build it yourself. If money is not an object then get the Mac, if you are on a budget go PC. If you are a gamer PC

I'm not hating on custom PC's or their ability to smash through FPS like Chuck Norris smashes in peoples faces, but the whole gaming thing is kind of a flawed argument. Since when does the Mac come with nothing? Last time I checked, my iMovie is WAY simpler to use than anything on my parents' PC. Also, working with files is so complicated with PC...you have to open this, download winrar, extract to desktop, put it all in a folder, put them together the run. Not for Macs

I meant hardware. Lets take iMac from Apple Store for 1499 $. 21,5 inch, 3.2GHz Intel Core i3, 4 GB RAM, 1 TB Hard drive, ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 512MB. It makes me funny. This was good when? 6 years ago? For 1499 on PC I can get: Intel® Core™ i7-960 3.20 GHz processor, 12 GB ram, System drive + 2 TB storage hard drive, GeForce GTX 470 1.2GB, 1000 Watt power + Great cooling for all of that. You're software argument means nothing to me cause its not complicated for me at all.

And actually, if its "simple" - it makes your possibilities simple. I can download WinRAR, but I don't have to. I can compress my files to make them very small, but I don't have to. I don't have any limits at all. Mac is like comunism - it does everything for you, you just have to pay and not think. PC is like total freedom. You can have Windows, but you don't have to. You can install free Linux, for example. You can customize everything. So tell me now, why MAC is better than PC?

To go to a meeting. [PC]
To go to the movies. [MAC]
To go on a date with. [MAC]
The point is, your argument doesn't make sense. These adverts are about pointing out flaws with PCs, and the advantages of Macs, while hiding the reverse. It doesn't make sense to force a real-world scenario onto an advert.

I will say that in the Mac vs PC debate the Mac wins on the laptop side and PC wins on the desktop side. The Macbook Pro is just overall better than a windows laptop, the design and the specs are equal or better. Mac OS is more stable as well. PC's re much better though for desktops. They are easily customizable and you can build an amazing machine for a low price if you build it yourself. If money is not an object then get the Mac, if you are on a budget go PC. If you are a gamer PC

It seems Mac is fond of imagining scenarios such as these, where it gets public recognition as a far better computer in comparison to the 'PC' counterpart. Ironically, nothing of what is stated in these ads or 'scenarios' are actually true. I've yet to see a favorable review of the Mac desktop computer in the Wall Street Journal. Hardware quality is a big part of how good a Windows PC is, with Macs it's not like that, Visuals are the biggest part of the macs appeal.
As long as you have decent hardware and know how to use it your Windows PC will be able to do things macs can only dream of.
