you actually touched off on a good question... commercials and other media dont wanna get sued or criticized for using minorites as the butt of jokes like these, so the "safe" approach is caucasians... nothing wrong with this, aside from the fact that it becomes too prevalent sometimes, and thus annoying(as a minority myself)
