  • Hahaha The dog:P

  • I love your dog!

  • @neoscribe Correct me if i'm wrong but The board at 1:22 is an ETC Express 48/96 Lighting console.

  • @rushrulez1 yes, that's correct, just pointing out that sound isn't the only thing that can be mixed. cheers, ken

  • LMAO THE DOG IS A MIXER!!!!

  • what kind of mixer is the one you have?, the big one..

  • @FiSTFigHT09 Yamaha M7CL, it's a digital console typically used for live performances such as plays and such.

  • @neoscribe oh, which mixer would be great to have in a studio from your prespective?

  • @FiSTFigHT09 i don't have a perspective on it, but I asked some friends who do. They said to try the Mackie 24 x 8 (in fact one of them has one for sale). And if you have $100G's or so, go with Soundscape if you have enough left over for the right outboard gear. I'm sure professional reading this post will have better input.

  • @neoscribe Hard to figure ...that yamaha can charge so much for a board, and not make it "also" set up for recording! This mixer would never end up in my studio...and if I wanted a club mixer...I'd still choose something different.

  • " Slider" - linear slider potentiometer, better known as a variable resistor, used in electronic devices such as mixing consoles where they are usually called "faders" by sound engineers. I hope that makes the video less painfull for the professionals who are cringing at the terms I use :)

  • I want the same mixer as shown at 1:11

  • "sliders" :P

  • men, you repeat "mixing console" arround 300 times!!!!

  • @manuel262 .....May, be, that's because it's a video about....(drum roll).... .....mixing consoles?

  • Respond to this video... Thinking of replacing my worn-out Mackie studio board. I have a home studio based around an ADAT (8 tracks). I'm eyeing a Behringer Xenyx board. These are billed as "live" mixers. However, they do have post-EQ direct outs per channel. As long as I had enough mic/line channels to take the outgoing tracks of the ADAT, what, exactly, would keep the Xenyx from being a suitable "studio" mixer?

  • you have the same washing machine as me!
