hey steve just wondering an opinon on my system. i have 2 mephis 15s ran off a 1200 what xplod amp (junk i know it was $60) but any time i turn the gain on the amp anything above 1/4 the amp within 5 mins gets hot and shuts off i have been told it could be a short not enough power to the amp or the subs are just to much for the amp. ive tried several things and the only thing i havent done is hook a capacitor up to it. off. just wondering what u think. any advice is greatly appricated, thanks
