If you've seen the film carefully then you must be aware of the fact that the protagonist, Numeros had several affairs with his students and even had a fiance. Junie was nothing, but just another object of desire for him. He even tells his friend that she is "fragile". Men think they can always have their way with "Fragile" women but Junie proved how strong and firm she is by resisting his advances.

@nm11607 I love the characther of Junie.Such a strong, wise ,mature and beautiful girl.What a personality! What she did in the end...it requires strength. She was awesome from the beginning to the end. What I liked the most was the characthers.All of them.And the dynamic between them.

@Tyanes17 I like her, she is a deep character. But what she did is not the answer, it's a curse. She is troubled, afraid of love, of dependance. Disappointed because there is no ideal love, instead of trying to make it happen. Keeping the distance all the time,not allowing herself to get involved, because it's safer that way. In my opinion, staying requiers even more strenght than taking off.
