Furthermore, there are certain people who would be offended by a woman showing her face in public at all, so clearly the fact that "certain people will be offended" is not a justification for making laws against people choosing their outfits in a free society. Certain people are offended by women showing their knees. Should short skirts be illegal? You don't seem to be thinking your logic through. Sure, most places have laws against exposing your sex organs in public, but those apply regardless of gender or style of dress.

Furthermore, there are certain people who would be offended by a woman showing her face in public at all, so clearly the fact that "certain people will be offended" is not a justification for making laws against people choosing their outfits in a free society. Like loitering, dressing in a certain way for certain events, smoking ban, drug laws, being able to take a piss outside....if you enter a religious place you may be expected to dress a certain way. (ie cover your hair, take off your shoes)

Certain people are offended by women showing their knees. Should short skirts be illegal? You don't seem to be thinking your logic through. Sure, most places have laws against exposing your sex organs in public, but those apply regardless of gender or style of dress.
