  • Funny thing is that prior to America's entry into WWII there also was a volunteer squadron created by the RAF for the Americans that volunteered. I believe it was simply called Eagle Squadron.

  • I had to watch this video because i had to do a report on the Lafayette Escadrille and it really helped my thx... its just ur screen

  • Great documentary! It might just be my screen, but the captions are hard to read. You may want to fix that if you ever make another one. Keep up the good work!

  • ~I love findin' information about the world war eras....I applaud the brave men on both sides...Why both sides?noone can with good conscience generalise all peoples from one side as a whole as evil..There were young men that had Honour and Valour on both sides and they followed this throughout the wars....I commend you on your endeavour to bring this information to this format so that future generations may have the chance to learn about these men....

  • This was a great film, very well done.

But something I dont get is that you said the German Focker planes were adorned with the Iron Cross and the Swastika. Now while I know about the Iron Cross, didnt Germany start using the Swastika as the symbol for the Nazi political party, which was in WWII?

  • Sorry, I must have gotten them mixed up. But your right, they were not used until Hitler seized control in the late 20's early 30's

  • Very beautiful film!!Thank you!!!

  • Proud and Honour !
