@Sharmilka Mine, too, on both counts, Sharmilka. That's why I just had to make this! When I made the connection that Kate Bush was singing about THE Carmilla, it all just fell in to place. Glad you found it, and all the best!
@ingmar683 Thank you for commenting, ingmar683. "Blood and Roses" is, for me, one of the saddest, most beautiful horror films, and just seemed so suited to Kate Bush. Thanks, again.
@keithdeweese "Blood and Roses" is one of the saddest and (definitely one and only)most beautiful horror film for me too...true Gothic masterpiece, dramatic and terrifyingly realistic,at the end tears flowed down by themselves.
Excellent! The Vadim images go so well with those Kate Bush songs. I thought there might be some connection between "Carmilla" and the early Bush song but wasn't sure. I wonder if this might have been one of those movies that inspired her to write a song as she did with "Wuthering Heights," "The Innocents," and "The Shining."
Wow, my favourite French story with my favourite English singer, poet, actress and dancer :)
