Covering any musical piece is the ultimate form of praise and tribute... If you were to paint over the Mona Lisa you would be dishonoring and destroying the original artwork. If you were to sit alongside trying to paint your own version of it, that would be honorable and it would not deface the original in any way... Nice work...

@vampireloverman Cheers :) - Instead of having a groove running through the whole song, I thought it'd be cool to have the drums follow the piano's accents. I programmed them in with a V-Drum kit then corrected the many, many mistakes I made. Then scored in fills, changed the beats, added extra hits etc...
@scotalianrocker Just noticed I forgot to mention... It's not the original piece in the background. I scored in all the midi for the piano as I can't play piano that well.
one thing to say... i like it and that is it. most of thease covers are sucky.. like most rap songs that ppl make a metal cover to they really suck except for a few.. GREAT JOB keep it up
Well done! I'm a bit of a Metallica fan, and I've to say that you captured a bit of that metal crunch and stuff, unlike those melodic things that we usually see around classical-covers land. But I was expecting a long-sustained-notes solo, some tripplets and stuff like that, haha! But congratulations!
Amazing! An idea I want to throw out there for any musician: The ending credits song from Dead Space 2 mixed with Moonlight Sonata. Check out thatsong, then get back to me. ::)
I like this. The composers of this fusion piece say they have kept the feel of the original "Moonlight Sonata" but I can hear it at a much faster tempo. Beethoven's original track is slower with a different kind of feel, wouldn't you say so?
