Are you a part of the gurugossip? I am. You can check for yourself that she is a fraud. You are absolutely right, she is manipulizing her subscribers to believe her little perky & high spirited side. Nobody will believe. Seriously, no one ever does. But you can check gurugossip . net & people there even INVESTIGATED her background and found out she ISNT even a LICENSED cosmetologist. Its funny. Sad though,she is using millions of people to make her FAT check

I did watch the Glaminar, and as a professional her techniques are amateurish. She might be an inspiration to you and YAY for you, however, people who want to really learn the true craft, need to take advice or REAL professionals.

She went out in to the PRO world, which Im not even sure you are familiar with and advertised the Glaminar and relied heavily on her "goodie bags" to promote attendance. They were really about $15.00 worth of free items she received. It was ridiculous....

@darlingmama09 Also, her "giveaways".. Are you aware that each time you click on her page she makes money. That is why she will give away an item - lets say the Urban Decay palette. And people are like "wow, she is awesome thats a $60.00 palette" and they click on her page and leave like 5 comments trying to wim this thing. Times that by all her subscribers and she has made several thousand on 1 "giveaway"....

Because they are making so much money while I am busting my ass off in college, a part-time job, and a little sister I have to take care of because of custody charges. Sucks but thats just life. Kandee Johnson is a complete scam artist. She is positive - cause she is getting your money.... Meaning to her reasons are money. She is one of the worst guru's reputation wise on youtube.

If you watch any of her videos and then watch a real pro - like Pixiwoo the difference in actual craft is huge...... She promised these huge amazing goodie bags that people only paid for the glaminars to actually get - and what a joke!

For instance, here in Illinois, we have NO state board that recognizes make-up artistry as a profession. There is NO license here for MUA's!

Therefore, a lot of people here who want to be MUAs, go for their Cosmetologists license. That being said, I think just meeting Kandee and getting to work with her would be worth going.
