If anyone here is a pizza making enthusiast stop and consider, "why haven't I ever heard of this before?". Out of all the websites, forums, and magazines I had researched for months before coming upon this video, I had not heard of anything like this before. Why? Because it doesn't work. The "radiant", or convection heat, that this is supposed to provide is only marginally greater than that of a stone by itself. Not to mention preheat takes 2 hrs
Glad everyone is enjoying this video and that its useful to some. I loved the laughing at the end and, as it turns out, this was the last video I did for the Times before getting laid off. Nice to go out on a high note.
this pizza looks like a economic pizza, made in a alternative home build wood burning oven with bricks........hahhahahaaaaaaaaaa i can't stop laughing its so hilarious
OH MAN AT THE END WHEN THERE WAS ONE PIZZA SLICE LEFT, AND SOME GUY TOOK IT I WAS LIKE OH MY GOD THAT'S SO FUNNY! MILK SPRAYED OUT OF MY NOSE AND HAHA WOW ONE PIECE LEFT AND HE'S LIKE I'M GONNA EAT THAT MOTHERFUCKER! HAHAHAHA
you know, i use to have a real Wood Fired Pizza Oven, and i gave up using it, simply because it is LOTS to do, from start to cleaning, and i gave it a big hit, flat KO :)
I just turn the oven on before work. Then when I get home, it's already preheated.

I hate myself for thinking this would work.

You said "I thought I could by ... at Home Depot ... I was wrong ..."
WELL THEN WHERE DO YOU BUY THE FIREBRICK?
Maybe I missed it, but I watched the video three times
Did you not preview your video?
Did you not notice that you left everyone dangling as to where to get the Fire Brick if NOT at Home Depot?

@wyzyrddrummer correction "by" = buy

Both Ace Hardware and Home Depot sell fire bricks on their websites.
