@kennnmoran Yes, but that's done by aligning a large girdle facet to the lap (on the correct index) after removing the pavilion dop. Some people use keyed dops, which have to be aligned within the transfer fixture.
Thank you for showing us the transfer. I have had all kinds of advice; using different temp wax, wrapping the stone with a wet paper towel...I figure all that is good advice...looks like I just need to keep practicing to find what works best for me!
Keyed dops sound good then.

Can you ensure the facets of the of the pavillion line up with the facets you will be cutting on the crown?
