But they sure seem to have a lot of influence - on those that allow themselves to be sucked in. Look at the number of fundamentalist christians in the U.S. that defend Israel because they believe it must exist when Jebus returns and ends the world. This religiously-inspired belief alone has resulted in so much irrational foreign policy.
