Like many, I fell in love with Jill during the Sixth Finger episode of Outer Limits. I never met her but know she was involved with animal rights work. I saw the comments pertaining to Frankie Avalon...I was an altar boy at this wedding. I'm just sad to hear she has passed but thanks so much for the Youtube video that helps keep her memory alive for her fans.
To whoever put this up - THANK YOU. Jill is/ was my best friend. She could be annoying, but.... gosh... I love her and miss her so much. We'd mostly just sit around - her place, or mine rarely), and bitch, talk.... Rarely talked about her career - though we did gossip about a lot of people. The clips you put up of her are SO beautiful. One movie she'd made (70's horror flick w/ Frankie Avalon) she hated making - but, loved Frankie. When you see it, you can see what she meant. Thank you!!!
never forgot ''the sixth finger'' original showing when i was 9! her acting with david seemed so real...like trying to separate oranges from orange juice!...thats the feeling i had while watching. RIP.
I was a very close and dear friend of Jill's.. I remember showing her this video.. and the stories she told behind every scene was always something you would expect.
We had a beautiful memorial service for her, We mentioned youtube and one of the ways to keep her beauty alive. I am having such a hard time with her loss. But I still love hearing from her old friends and fans and the new friends and fans.
Yes, a real peach of a honey, and, I suppose, the heartthrob of millions of baby-boomer guys after her performance in "Exodus." Coming just one day after the passing of Anne Francis, this has been one rotten week for my old flames! RIP.
i just recently saw the movie Exodus and although I greatly admire the old classics, I found myself drawn more to the scenes with Sal Mineo or Sal and Jill Haworth (and of course the music) I really think they could have been a cute couple! but I love old classics and she was so cute in that movie! =P
@talkinbroadway Some years ago I found her website and wrote a fan email to her and to my great delight she shortly responded to kindly thank me!! :) Awesome that you got to meet her!! :)

Have loved her since I saw EXODUS. Got to meet her after seeing her in CABARET on Broadway. She has a website too. Always been my screen crush!
