i building a budget gaming com soon so i wanted to ask tat Gigabyte GA-G33-DS3R is it worth it or not.

It is! Although I personally would prefer it if it had more than just 4usb outputs on the back.. and I guess you can find something better at this price now... But overall it is performing excellently..

no other problem occurs when putting all together with motherboard?

NOT at all!! A friend of mine bought an ASUS and he had to update his bios and stuff in order for it to work with a Quad Core cpu, so I was prepared for it but I didn't have to do anything.

Plus it's easy and safe for overclocking so if you can find it in a good price I'd say totally go for it, make a good PC and be happy!!!

Just try throwing most of your money on your graphics card, get a 4850 or 4870

nice video, nice PC :D i just got a new pc (about a half-year ago) and on the third day the videocard cooler fan started to make some annoying "noises"... and after a few days.... well.. RIP Cooler :D

I now got another Geil gaming RAM @ 1066 a Cyber Snipa Intelliscope mouse, a new DVD-RW an HDD more and waiting for more (like a 7,1 surround.. or a 24" monitor:) so expect a new vid soon....

Yeah I had the "npr" in mind but it's not a problem... As long as the games run sssmooothly!

Also my temps are nowhere above 40degrees Celsius. There would be a problem with the 3870 but using RivaTuner to set the fan on 50% would solve it.

by the way that power supply is a little low on power 450w id keep eye on your voltages if i were u might get some overheating and no room for overclocking mate. 450w recommended that is the minimum might wanna run prime test and see what your pc peeks at or run a intensive 3d app for a hour and check temps and voltages with everest ultimate take care

Yeah I though of that but it was in a fine price and with over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP) and short circuit protection (SCP). +low noise. well you are right it is in my priorities!

ok well here in the u.k can get 2gb of ddr2 800mhz ocz gaming ram for 30.00 uk pound = 60 usd

Nice but the prices are really different here (Greece) those RAMs should cost like 150 euros

but lets not be greedy, I should be happy with just these. Besides every time you buy something the next day something better comes out. Nice pc btw

cheers m8 next is just asus p5e motherboard another 2gb ram another 3870 for xfire and a large cpu cooler for a 3.6ghz overclock

Well for now I only have a 512ram at 667mhz(a friend lent me) although I haven't tested many games yet(ram lack) it is awesome!!! only lags a bit cause the ram is at full load 99%

really wanna opt for some 1066 ram or overclockable 800mhz ram to match to fsb speed of your Q6600 reccomend wot i use which is ocz platinum rev2

Nah not for my budget... maybe I'll have those on dual channel at 800mhz and wheeeeen i get some more $ (and the prices drop) i'll dual channel some more GBs @ 1066... Thanks for the recommendation thought ;)
