In the intro I play it adding a G cord after the D cord, and then the bass part, and it sounds good. That's how I learned it from a tab on the internet.

Ya know...I thought this was very good. I have given up trying to play things exactly as the artist did. I think the base runs you use are very nice..gives it a great flow. I am a rank beginner, and when someone puts the effort into showing how something is done, repeats it over and over again..it is great.

the actual first chord is Em7 for the intro. ( downstroked chord) Add your little ( pinky) finger on the second string 3rd fret( non capoed) This will give it that distinctive sound , listen and you will hear the difference.
