okay first of all I was only talking about a competitors website, so stop talking about other stuff.
But no there are other ways to deindex like spam their personal blogs (worked before) and somehow leave a slight trail of your website and they will deindex it.

it depends on what key word you're being indexed for... you can always add "noindex" "nofollow" to your meta robot text...
but the only way to de-index a competitor is hacking and downtime....
all google is doing is categorizing links by importance and the text of the links...
