@thebipolarbear94 , Cpu should have been under the smaller heatsink. They needed a bigger (or longer/wider) gpu heatsink from the get go, perhaps with active cooling, it would have avoided everything.
They gave the CPU a giant heatsink even though the GPU was what is making most of the heat.

@jamii192 just in terms of sales and the market it managed to carve out for itself. Nintendo really marketed the console well, everything from the name to their philosophy on making gaming accessible to everyone. It was just done better than Sony and Microsoft in my humble opinion, but the 360 and PS3 are awesome consoles- I have all 3.

Mass Effect is a permanent console exclusive. Bioware have history with Microsoft and they will loose all their support if they bring the game to the PS3. Simple as that.

@MexicanMuscel Actually no... The original PlayStation controller came without thumb sticks and wasn't part of the "DualShock" range. Then they released the DualShock1 controller, also with the PSOne. Next they brought out DualShock2 with the PS2, and finally the DualShock3 with SixAxis for PS3. They've had more controllers than Microsoft Xbox and Xbox360, which together have had the original, nicknamed "Duke," the S-Type controller, and then finally the 360 controller, which hasn't changed. ;)

dont be distracted b the cheaper prices of the xbox 360, you end up paying the rest in wireless adaptors, and live subscriptions and it doesnt even have a blu ray player. After all of that crap that you have to go through it will probably end up with the red ring of death

It brings a lot of different experiences. What did she thought while stating this? Hmmm... It will fuck up your games, your cds, your dvds. It will overheat and die on you. It will eventually burn down your hous. It will sound like a chainsaw or maybe a vacuum cleaner. It will cost you more money than the PS3. It will make you pay money for repair (at least in the first months...) of the rrod... I don´t want tese experience. Not for me microsoft...thanks...

It was too expensive. Microsoft wanted to make money off of the consoles from day one. They cut corners everywhere. That's why the failure rate is so high.
