Bred and born in Toronto Canada, but I've always had this fondness for Scotland and I don't know why. I'm not Scottish. Not even close. I've got South Asian, Persian, and African ancestry..but geesh! I've never had a fascination for any other country like I do for Scotland. One of my classmates at my university was Scottish (accent and all)- sweetest most genuine most down to earth person I met. Grew up in British Columbia, Canada. Whenever I saw our local legion in marches or at events, they'd come out with bagpipes playing this. The legion was founded by scots. It's a very powerful anthem and gives me goosebumps listening to it today. Nothing but respect for the scots who basically founded and built this country from the ground up. Our first Prime Minister was born in Glasgow, even.
