  • My first Airedale waited until the final exam of the obedience course to completely disregard all of my Mothers commands, hilarious dogs.

  • Thanks for posting this. I couldn't stop laughing and thinking about my old Airedale ... we never did get our CD.

  • Sometimes I can get my Airedale to sit, hahaha =D <3

  • Great! So funny. But given this was a Airedale only show ... was the prize for the Airedale that made its owner look the foolish while exhibiting a clown disposition and, not quite, destroying human hope.

    (I have 2 Airedales)

  • I added this video to my favorites a couple years ago, and still laugh out loud every time I watch it. Aren't Airedales a wonderful breed! My sweet boy is seven years old, but still behaves like a clown with boundless energy and love of life. What a joy!

  • best song on you tube, and i'm not an old geezer either, perfect music for the footage, you are an absolute genius, can't believe they haven't muted you yet. well done.

  • Someone once told me that an Airedale will wait until it can see triumph in your eyes. - And then it will do some monkey business.

  • thatr cracks me up!!!

  • I love this video :)

  • I had an Airedale as a kid growing up...big, loveable blockhead. I miss him to this day.

  • great video. Kinda freaks me out as I am thinking about entering the ring for a CD title. lol

    AIREDALES ROCK!

  • I love the airedale character

  • @sampearce4 exactly unless you want to turn your dog into a robot, ( that shows no affection, doesnt show excitement or emotions and looks at you with a scared look in its eyes,) then leave the airedale as nature intended.

They are very clever, think for their own and whilst faithful, could embarrass you at any moment, and be totally aware of it. I miss my airedale rip Leah

  • i've got an airdale and a staff bull terrier.

the airdale is a stronger dog and can be more agressive than the staff, they had a fight once and my staff had no chance

  • really, I heard this about airedales, where did you get yours from, in australia I think the terrier is being bred out of them, they are all show dogs over here, I want to bring the tenacity back to the breed in this country. Lets talk.

  • my last one, Fiona was 65 lb, and didn't take shit from any other dogs-and for some reason many other female dogs gave her crap-all the time she didnt lose any fights (didn't really let them have fights-but the other dog was always on the bottom) and bit a few dogs-in fights she didn't start- but 99% of the time was super friendly with other dogs, and got ANYdogtoplay, even ones that never played with other dogs-she was cool as hell, and a tuff guy-her bark was loud too-she had one volume-loud!

  • reading about EH Richardson, he loved this breed.

  • duuude, are you gonna learn not to leave that stuff out? or put him in a crate when you aren't able to watch him.

you can train them easily (easily if you stick it out), you just have to be patient and figure out what motivates them-and generally airedales love to play and get into trouble.

  • I love this video, & its funny, & it brings back good, funny memories of my airedale :)

  • Oh Lesley. I'm laughing my butt off here. It reminds me so of Sophie. Everyting would go well untill the day where we should show what we've learned. Gotta love Airedales.

  • Airedale Terriers are not Golden Retrievers. The best Airedales are versatile working dogs, capable of learning a great deal, but they have an independent mind of their own and are not pushovers to raise and train. They can be manipulative, and some are willful, obstinate, and dominant (they want to be the boss) and will make you prove that you can make them do things. You must show them, through absolute consistency, that you mean what you say.

  • I laugh myself silly every time I watch this! I have an 18mo old male Airedale (my first - I had Kerry Blue Terriers previously), and now I understand why we had so much trouble with heeling: It's just not nearly as much fun as anything else he can think of to do. Such clowns they are.

  • that was wonderful

  • Oh, this really made me laugh, having had Airedales and a Kerry Blue... You really have to be patient with them and a huge sense of humour. ;)

  • Soooo airedale! I have a three year old and she is so funny!. She is having a fit watching all the airedale videos.

  • that was very funny , i guess sobody didnt qualified ..

  • so much more energy than any other dog i have ever known

  • Who could live without those rubber noses and playbows? Not me!

  • Oh, the joys of airedale "ownership". They certainly own us don't they. Our Grant is now 9 1/2 and still is full of suprises! It takes a special kind of family to have an airedale and as frustrating as they are sometimes, they ALWAYS make us laugh in the end. Reminds us not to be so serious all the time!

  • Airedales are such inteligent breed, they just need a few patience and that´s it. I have an 8 month female airedale, her name is Dushka, she learned many things since she got home when she was two months old. Now we need to train that obedience aspect when walking. Great video!!

  • Lovely... more play than anything else, so music is perfect. ;-)

  • Airedales have the best play bow! X)

  • Brilliant!!!!!. I'm an Airedale (6) owner and I own them because they are fun and you never know what to expect. I recently purchased a Scotty as well, I'm a glutton for punishment. I think I laugh more at their antics than anything else. tee heeee

  • I feel the pain, I have a scotty. People who compete with terriers are gluttons for punishment, but its hard not to love them

  • That was great. I have a good friend who does obedience with her airedales. I always admired that. I cheated and did Goldens! ;)

    susie

  • That was great. I haven't laughed so hard in ages. And I mean that in the best way possible. I did competition obedience with a bulldog. And now I have Spinones. None of which are above any of the things witnessed. And oh so much more. Thanks for the great video.

  • that was wonderful- it's great to see the dogs clearly enjoying themselves.

  • This is delightful... exactly why I love airedales!

  • Good on you all for getting your fabulous dogs out there! You still get to go home with the Best Dog Ever!
